I hear Matt Morris is a FA at the end of the year.............he's a drama queen, but at least it would hurt the Cards! Just say NO!!!!! to Matt Morris. (besides, he and Prior don't/won't get along)

Gahd. Kerry Wood sucks as much as the majority of the team does now. Ok, not so much... but that HR makes that faint flushing sound I heard a couple days ago sound alot louder and alot closer now.

Zambrano deserves so much more - he's probly thinking his teammates suck as much as we fans do. His great performance tonight (sans the 2-run dong to Larry Jones) has been superb.

Burnitz is bad anyways, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that strikeout... thanks to that GREAT ( :roll: ) K2 call, he had to swing at that ball to protect the inside half - cause we never know about an ump's strike zone when the Braves are pitching - even to this day (aka, still similar to "Maddux-Glavine-Smoltz" GENEROUS strike zones back in the day).

Typical Atlanta Braves pitching strike call on that K2 pitch to Burnitz... not only was it outside, but it woulda been low to a 4' guy!

Rox got lucky... what the hell were they doing pitching to a Triple Crown contender, as the tying run, with Jose Macias on deck?!!?! Of course, being the Cubs they were facing, they got out of it unscathed.

I won't throw the season away with 39 games left, but we needed this sweep in the worst imaginable way... of course, we needed to not go on an 8-game losing streak a couple weeks ago in the worst imaginable way, too....... ugh.
