    We are down to 4. All things considered, would you rather have the Cubs wrap it up against the Brewers, or against our arch rival Cardinals? I would love nothing more to clinch this weekend against the Cardinals and that jackass, Tony Larussa. Think of the satisfaction we as fans would get with that and Jim Edmonds would get as well. Either way, we certainly want to wrap it up this weekend so we can get guys some rest and set our rotation for the playoffs.

    Soriano was having funs with the fans. He came out of the dugout after he hit the HR and puts his hands up as if to say: Where's my curtain call?". He was obviously just having fun.

    Ok, I'm glad Milt was a Cub and pitched a no hitter. However, he's sounds like a bitter douche right now. Not only that, he says he didn't even know the Cubs game was on and instead was watching the White Sox.

    Perhaps because it gives better hitters more PA and in doing so, increases our chances at scoring more runs, which increases our chances of winning. That's the goal, right? :scratch: The increase in all of that, especially with like 15 games left, is so miniscule, that it's not even worth talking about and even less worth the possibility that it freaks the players out, because a move like that, after 145ish games and in the midst of a bad stretch, reeks of panic. I'd do it for the playoffs as well, not just the last 16 games.

    If Derrek is the great team player that everyone says he is (And I believe he is), then he should have no problem with Lou dropping his ass to 6th in the order. Can we win in the postseason with his lack of production? Why does Lou move everyone else in the order around but not Lee?
