  1. For fun, during Spring Training I bet one team from the NL and one from the AL to win the WS. I picked the Braves at 14-1 and Astros at 25-1. I am going to win money either way but obviously would rather have the Astros win. I think they will, thought about hedging some on the Braves to guarantee the same profit no matter the outcome but I think the Astros should win this thing.

    NFL Week 7

He just might play until he is 50.
  3. There are Bears fans who would rather go 2-15 if both wins are vs Green Bay than 15-2 if both loses were vs Green Bay.
  4. The one strength the Bears offense has is their running game. Tampa is great at stopping the run. Tampa is not good against the pass. The Bears should open up the passing game but won't. Tampa 31 Bears 10
  5. That was horrible. How can an ump make that call in that spot?
  6. Mack and ARob DNP both yesterday and today. Hopefully the injuries are not piling up
  7. If the Bears don't get too conservative on offense I think they can win. The defense is playing great but It will take a minimum of 24 points to win Sunday.
  8. Abreu gets accidentally hit by pitch and Larussa loses his horsefeathers down 7-1. This team will never sniff a WS with him as manager
  9. Yup, I mixed those up. Thanksgiving/Christmas
  10. That's one of the benefits of being old, I legit remember when the Bears dominated this rivalry. All I've got are those final Favre years vs. Lovie, a home MNF win in like 2010, the Thanksgiving game that one year (2015?), and that 2018 home win. I'm sure I missed one in there somewhere (maybe?) Didn't a Bears team go up to GB on Christmas night one year? Maybe 2005 and win? My favorite of the 21st century was game 1 in 06, Hester returned a punt in his first game, Bears won 26-0
  11. That's one of the benefits of being old, I legit remember when the Bears dominated this rivalry. Yep I laughed at the Packers fans from 84-91. Lynn Dickey? Lol. If I only knew what the next 30 years would be like
  12. Why didn't he resign/get fired before the Bears game?
  13. GB is banged up but not only wins but covers every year at Soldier Field it seems.Maybe they get to Rodgers like the Saints did?
  14. Sox Astros should have been the 6pm Central game. Put the Ray's Redsox at 1pm.
  15. Cardinals 0-10 with RISP. LOL. Dodgers probably repeat if they get by the Giants
  16. If the Cardnials and their devil magic knock off a 106 win Dodger team, this will be the end of the current playoff format as we know it. It might be anyway after the CBA. I have future bets on the Astros 25-1 to win the WS and Braves 14-1 so hopefully one of them wins. Otherwise, Tampa would be fine.
  17. The Browns D wasn't looking that great in week 1 and 2. Our Oline is bad still. Raiders are probably in the middle of Browns,Rams,Bengals, Lions. I think it might look bad Sunday.
  18. Have you been to Jacksonville?
  19. I don't think the Raiders are that good.
  20. Fields has been getting a majority of the time withe the #1s in practice. With that being said, Foles will be the starter lol
  21. Tampa-7 vs NE. Hmm everyone and their mother is expecting Brady to roll here. Something tells me the game ends with the Bucs escaping with a 3 point win
  22. Any chance Eddie Goldman finally plays this week or ever again? Couldn't find any updates
  23. I really think this is all being done by the NFL. The McCaskeys don't have the money to build a new stadium and the team is being kept in Cook County, so it's not like the Bears represent a new source of revenue for Illinois or Cook County. To me, this is a deal that's being put in place to drive up the team's value, since it means any new ownership group taking over the Bears will have their own massive vacant lot to build whatever domed shrine to capitalism their hearts may desire. I think we see the team sold within two years of this purchase deal getting finalized. Could a company like Amazon for instance, partner with the McCaskey's to build a new stadium?
  24. And hosting Super Bowl LXV ish
