    Yes its not all bad coaching, but you can't deny the horrible clock management, horrible challenges, horrible use of time outs, perhaps losing the locker room etc. His bad record in 1 score games mostly happened during the tank seasons but also losing 6 games with a >95% chance to win all of them matters too.

    TIL that there is no way Notre Dame can get a first round bye because they don't play in a conference. I know they probably don't deserve one but had they smoked Northern rather than lose I would imagine this would be a bigger story. Boise ST getting a potential bye is hilarious. Granted I don't follow CFB like most of you but I was just reading up on it.

    There has to be a non zero chance that Eberflus is gone on black Friday assuming they get their ass kicked on Thanksgiving? Shannahan, I doubt is leaving SF and even if he did Ginny and the cheapskate family would never want to pay him ala Harbaugh Johnson is going to have his pick at any job he wants. Why would he pick a division rival that has to play Detroit 2 x a year and is dysfunctional from the top all the way down? Besides George Hallas and John Fox I don't think the Bears have ever hired a coach who wasn't a first time head coach so that probably rules out Stefanski too.

    Swift missed practice with a groin injury. Flus hopeful he can play. This would be big if he can't go. I liked what they did last week with Swift/Johnson

    Caleb Williams 18-25 for 225 1 TD 0 INTs vs a very good Vikings Defense Bears however lose 16-14 when Eberflus decides to punt with 4 seconds left on 4th down from the Viking 35 and Minnesota returns the punt 98 yards with no time remaining. A normal coach when up 14-10 in this spot would have the QB scramble around to kill the clock.

    The worst part if not for the dumb hail mary and the blocked kick. Everyone would be talking about Williams leading the Bears twice to game winning drives. Instead, we are talking about dumb horsefeathers Eberflus losing yet another winnable game. The Packers saw Santos kick a line drive on that 55 yarder in the first quarter, they are smart the Bears are dumb.

    Who knows, with this inept coaching staff maybe they are leaking this to the media(true or not) Seems to me Eberflus is the type of guy to save his own ass at any cost
