  1. Girardi just doesn't seem like the type of guy Theo would hire. And if they did, why not just can Maddon now and put Girardi in. Sounds like a bunch of nothing to me. That was a joke. I know, I was referring to the sports radio people who think this actually might happen

  3. he had a 50% completion percentage, 2 picks and 2 more shoulda been picks. Yes he had a sub par day. But he isn't the reason they lost. The Bears will be 6-3 going into the Vikings game and this town will be creaming their pants again. As for Mack they said its a high ankle sprain and is a 6 week injury but playing thru it won't make it worse. This D was above average without him last year, maybe its time they find a way to stop getting gashed. Or make a stop at some point with 4 minutes to go in a game trailing by one score.
  4. Yep I wonder if I will be able to get him to write a retraction? I put a comment down but it is waiting to be approved. There are 0 comments to this article so I bet most are not getting approved.
  5. All that play proved to me is that if we had instant replay in 2003, the Cubs are in the World Series 15 years ago. I don't think they overturn it. If anything it maybe would have focused the wrath away from Bartman and on to the umpires for failing to reverse the call.
  6. Mitch is way down the list on why the Bears lost the game. Yes he made mistakes, but they also put up 28 points, which should be more than enough for a supposed "vaunted" defense. The offense also gave the defense a 21-10 lead at one point.
  7. Doesn't matter in the end as the winner of this series should be out in 5 games tops in the WS. Brewers will go back to being a 85 win team again next year. All will be right again
  8. Ant Knee Eye a po che
  9. I could be wrong but I don't think the Bears beat New England since Super Bowl XX. Edited: Bears won once in 2000.
  10. Any notable injuries besides Mack? At it appears he should be fine
  11. Patriots open at -2.5
  12. And Tannehill is out. Spread now -6.5
  13. Tannehill showed up on the injury report today as limited with a shoulder issue. Could definitely make it 4 this week. He has Kris Bryant syndrome
  14. Why do people think the Brewers are even winning this series? Let alone the next one? Do you see who the AL opponents would be?
  15. No, but he is expected back sometime next week.
  16. The Brewers got hot in September, the Cubs couldn't hit and they played a hot garbage Rockies team in the NLDS. Dodgers in 5. I think the ALCS goes 7. I don't know who will win but they will take out the Dodgers fairly easily.
  17. That was a terrible take. I mean they were rushed thru the minors and won a WS. A 2nd place team? Yes for this year but probably not going forward If the Cubs won 1 more game they would have held off the Brewers and the narrative would have been "Resiliency"
  18. This is a bad team. Amazingly they are 2-0-2
  19. So that leaves the Rams or Vikings home games as potential moves.
  20. The 1985 Bears knock a few starters out, that would be my guess Eric Hipple nearly was killed by Wilbur Marshall. Stupid NFL blocking the youtube video
  21. Couldn’t happen to a better guy. I never thought I would be rooting for a potential Yankees/Dodgers World Series. I want Houston to not repeat and I would rather have ISIS in the Series in place of the Brewers. I think you are going to get a Brewers/Astros WS
  22. Toronto threw their back-up goalie out there tonight, still think they're the team to beat Yeah, they are the pre 2016 Cubs of hockey. I think they get it done this year, although it might be tough getting out of the East. The West? Maybe Nashville, I think Vegas is going to take a step back
