    I don’t think any of your doom-bonering is about football actually. The Bears (and their fans) are often vehicle for it, but it really feels more personal for you and dystopian than football

    I think his head is spinning. I think he sees his NFL dream flashing before his eyes and is trying to make sense of all of it, trying to hold on. The holes in his game are clear and the are out in front for everyone to see, but Getsy was always pushing an offense not suited for his skill set. I think thats whats happening, his stream of consciousness is meeting reality, and hes getting caught off guard every step of the way. I hate seeing this. Maybe it changes him for the better and he turns stuff around

    I actually listened to that part of his press conf on the Bears app, and it felt clear he was unhappy with the coaching. He skirted the question about holding onto the ball too long, ie not processing the D. He said he is a "perfectionist" and a reporter immediately asked if he meant that if a play wasnt perfect, he wouldnt throw the ball(?). He kid of shrugged the question off and said "perfectionist in general", but I think it was clear what he was saying. It think Getsy is asking him to do things he doesnt WANT to do, and it 100 % feels like we are about to see Justin 2022 this Sunday i think that’s about the only way he stays in the NFL at some capacity, also. Can an NFL team win with 2022 Fields? He didnt really prove it last year, but then again he D was abysmal...so the question remains. I think in some ways JF is setting his course for free agency at least if this year continues to be a catastrophe

    Who decided on the “hiring committee” last time? If it was McCascket, who’s to say Warren will get the decision this time? Would it be bad if he didn’t get it?

    I’m in total agreement. When poles was hired, the talk was “dream scenario” for new GM and HC coming into the team with a recent high pick QB. They fail if that QB fails. There shouldn’t be high reward, low risk here, it was always high risk high reward for Poles and Eberflus and it’s stupid to suggest the FM and HC shoukd get another chance, this is the NFL, there are literally millions of people who would jump at tge oppertunity to be in their pisitions. Stop coddling them
