    Carter's character issues were made up, the only thing that was a concern was him showing up out of shape to his pro day. But if that was really an issue, why they let Davis do the same damn thing for the actual nfl season is bonkers. Not taking a generational talent at DT when your choice of defenses is the Cover 2 was ignorant.     Remember we stocked up on DBs and claimed that a strong backfield was the best way to build a defense and then they all got hurt too bad it never mattered because the D is horsefeathers to begin with

    man, I just think he thought JF was the next Mahomes and flat-out failed to aid his development. That being said, I actually have some hope that JF can rise above the adversity. Even if he became an average QB in the NFL at this point, it would be an accomplishment given his journey. And I think given the Bears multi-generational ability to build a defense, an average QB could win a lot of games. Thats my biggest gripe with Flus, the D but I've always been accused of being an optimist

    im fully expecting the league to suspend play at soldier field due to the fact that they mis-stripped it at something like 95 yards and not 100 at this point
