  6. Recently watched that. Good movie. 1st time??? Yeah. Not a movie buff... But a friend on NSBB made me watch it! :shock: :shock: :shock: just teasin..its one of my all time favs. glad to see you loose your Caddyshack virginity
  7. My understanding is that Chavez Ravine in the area of town where the ball park is located. It was never really the official name of the ball park. Chavez Ravine is the name of the ravine (hollow, valley) where they built the stadium

  9. at night, the air sinks (flows downhill) in Chavez Revine. Its hard to hit a hr in the eveing there. during the day, as the heat rises from the LA basin, WHOLE nother story. think of it like Wrigley West Yeah, the patterns are kind of interesting. Just because this is a night game, it won't get dark until 8pm or so. And even then, the marine layer doesn't always settle in at dusk. Sometimes, it creeps in while it's still light out. But on a clear, sunny day, all bets are off on how many runs can score. It's interesting stuff, really. Dodger Stadium is my 2nd favorite stadium. I like the design, not a bad seat in the house, and the way it plays, day vs night. Cubbie games there are a treat
