  1. it looked to me like Bynum could have made a serious attmept at stopping the throw, but just watched it pass....coulda been camera angle, but i didnt think so.
  2. That's right. It's The Riot's fault. Yep, that's exactly what I said. its not, but thats what Dusty would say Well if that's not what he meant, it's weird timing to notice that. Just after Z's throw. Why not notice it just now when he is batting? I actually noticed it when he tried to pick Nady off. This is the first game I have seen Theriot in. @ 5-11, theriot would make me look short (5-9)
  3. I hope you're joking there..considering Bynum was on the other side of second on that play. its his job to back 2nd up on that play, and by the time he was over there, he almost could have had that, at least it looked like that, but he just lolli-gaged it and wathed the ball go into CF I didn't see him over that far. I'm just not sure how a guy playing 2B is supposed to be able to cut off an errant throw by the pitcher that is several feet wide on the shortstop side of second..that is a long way to go in a very short amount of time. naaaaaaaaaaaa....SS is ranging towards 1st, 2nd is ranging towards LF, bynum had a better angle and momentum to get to that then Theriot did...

  6. wtf was Bynum doing there??? he just watched the throw go past him!!!
  7. I'd have to go back and do some research on that one..... but I can tell you... CUBS are 40-18 when they score first in the game.... 14-58 when they don't CUBS are 26-17 when they score in the first inning.... 28-59 when they don't Go CUBS !! well, knowing Pierre, I think that might have been the 1st time all season
  8. fRED, wHATS OUR RECORD WHEN WE LEAD OFF W/A hr?? sorry about the caps
  9. I missed this, but what? Inside the park homer cause jock overran the ball. you mean a single and a three bag error by jock
  10. this stat tells me that the cubs should hit more batters. it doesnt matter if they do or dont, they suk. but the game would be more interesting. You may want to check your math there. I did. for $90 mil, 17-29 Sox and 37-44 Sox. either way, they suk. :P

  12. this looks promising. Hopefully its more then just a hot streak, like a result of his adjusted swing as someone mentioned before. Keep it up, indeed.
  13. I'm sure that will happen. Right after King Felix clones himself to all 32 teams.
  14. MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT
  15. he had his eyelids permenatly stapled open so he can see the strick zone better.....
  16. Yep. I had to say it. I actually thought to myself when Guzman threw the 3-0 strike to Howard that if he threw him another good pitch, it was going to be a home run-I almost wanted him to try to throw a breaking ball in that spot. did howard hit that hr on a 3-0 pitch? No, I meant I thought that when I saw him throw the 3-0 strike right down the middle...the 3-1 pitch was the pitch Howard hit the home run. IC. I missed the AB....
