  1. Can’t decide if I want the bears to hire Harbaugh on results alone or not, but horsefeathers Michigan
  2. Is it possible we put a kid into national spotlight who grew up in BFE I think he's done unbelievably well, I think he'll be an amazing QB2 for Fields if we see the Fields we want to see. Other than that,,,,who knows
  3. man I would NEVER draft a QB under 5-11, and I'm under 5-11 #shortdudesdontflingdarock
  4. well, he has played well in the last few games so I'm not sure what plays you're referring to. But also, on a team that lacks good storylines the commentators will find something positive even if it's our oft-injured OG. I noticed Kmet is also being heralded. now, if Kmet ends the season around 10 TDs and 750+ yards, I'll be happy with it tbh
  5. speaking of.. I was reading an article (apple news wont let me get a direct link) about Jim Kelly, the Bills former QB and Reich's buddy. Kelly has been through a ton in the last decades, lost a son, got cancer and was given a 10% chance to live but survived, etc. In the article, they also talked about all of his plates and rods throughout his body from his nfl days, he's damn near a Civil War veteran. He's now a "Christian" which always makes me feel suspect, but man I feel for the guy
  6. This will be BYs coming out party
  7. Nice fake tackle Jaylen
  8. I mean, its honorable to think about what might improve the Bear's draft picks, or want to simply root for da Bears, but the reality is no matter what pick(s) they get, they are unorganized, unprepared, uncompetent (gotta stick with the uns here) and unfocused to the point that they will horsefeathers up the pick(s) or the fine young ma(e)n they draft so wtg hairy, doomsville has always been with us. it just took me this long to accept it
  9. well you're in luck, Bauer wouldn't be enough to put any team over the top at this point in his career. plus hes a giant piece of @#$$
  10. Boy am I glad Roquans career isnt wasted
  11. A bad read that results in a throw IS a bad throw.
  12. What’s the difference? Nobody isn’t playing, Bagent is
  13. Bagent makes short throws because that’s all he CAN do
  14. Im not sure why they would have taken Stroud, everyone was still pretty high on Fields
  15. i dont think anyone thinks they could have cobbled a team last offseason to get to the SB, but a winning record would be nice. Also, Poles wasnt hired last year, hes had 2 offseason to improve the team and has done the opposite
  16. I'm pretty amazed they have 3 wins considering their schedule
  17. My concern is what wrigley stated above; not being able to franchise tag Johnson because Poles feels he has to franchise Sweat instead. That scenario feels far more likely than resigning Johnson at this point; given Johnson was told he could seek his own trade
  18. this is why I'm not terribly hurt by giving up a 2nd for him, but at this point, he's still just a rental and if he costs the Bears their franchise tag, I will be pissed.
  19. who cares about the current roster by itself, Poles got rid of more talent than he's brought in
  20. in a vacuum, I don't hate the Sweat trade. Hes a decent edge and giving up a 2nd doesn't scare me, but if he doesnt get an extension worked out my view changes immediately. But this is kind of the point ^^^^^. Poles, by all appearances, doesn't seem to have a plan. he stripped the cupboard when he arrived and his only answer to replenishing it has been to knee-jerk his way through FA and trades without any long term vision
  21. I think Johnson is a better 3-4 CB than cover 2 (man vs zone), but the lack of int's in his career in general stand out.
  22. right up until they resign Sweat in the offseason, thereby getting their pass rush back AND our 2nd. I mean, you cant put that kind of move past Poles - or lack of move
