  1. yea, Castillo spent his entier career in the Al and hasnt played at wrigley was I dreaming in 2003?
  2. steroids? cortizone? what could help in that? I get tthe feeling Wood is just pushing for one appearance for his kid, then under the knife an prolly his career.
  3. sarcasm? if not, your evaluation of "total garbage" is quite interesting. sarcasm. sutcliffe was ragging on hill all night. that's what I figured, but my sarcasm meter is often busted. dudes only got 2 pitches, well 27 if you count his 26 different curveballs :)
  4. "thats BS thats BS!!!" shut up hawk
  5. Z, if you go south, I'll fully back Barrett when he AJP's ya!!!
  6. If he's out there and remains healthy, I think he can be a star. But it's a little disturbing to me that he hasn't shown the durability that was the hallmark of his days @ Texas. Some have claimed Benson could have continued to play in the Super Bowl, but was simply afraid of being hurt more. I'm not sure how to take that, but it doesn't seem like a real "tough" attitude if it is true. I might be wrong, but I thought the Bears held him out of the rest of the game and he wanted back in? can anyone clarify this?
  7. I realize benson has been hurt twice now, and I understand the concern, but who's to say he couldnt become the legit pro-bowl star of the offense?
  8. on a side note, the announcer sounded like it was his first broadcast..and the 5 people at the ballpark were sooooo excited...
  9. lol...
  10. I agree that they wouldn't trade up for him. Could Quinn slip to the 2nd round? Wow. We could really use a great TE, I know Jerry doesn't like taking TEs this high. I'd take Olsen if he was there. No thanks, not in the first round anyways. I'd rather take something we needed more than TE. I would for Olsen
  11. seems they gave alot..they must have really liked Moss....
  12. not really. I think his point was the packers need more help on O then they do on D, not jsut making favre happy.. Do they though? I thought they were ranked #9 on O. well, look who they lost....Green and Henderson and Walker I suppose. Do you think Green was really all that valuable still? I think Walker was gone most/all of last year so they made #9 without him. Henderson----he was good but replaceable, IMO. I'm not totally disagreeing with the pick. They'll have 2 good DTs if he works out. Walker and Green havent been replaced-arguably. Driver had a good season, but I wouldnt be too excited about Favres supporting cast if I were a packerbacker...

  14. not really. I think his point was the packers need more help on O then they do on D, not jsut making favre happy.. They were 25th in the league on D. He keeps repeating "it shows you something. When the 49ers picked a defensive player instead of an O-line guy, it wasn't the end of the world, but it showed me something." I'm not agreeing with his assesment, but I am saying he isn't an idot for it.... packers need alot of help, O and D

  16. yea, rationalize it!!!! (I'm just teasing you)
  17. sorry man..wait no I'm not....
  18. lol...GB fans....
  19. young mentioning Quinn to the Bears...wow...
  20. There is a HUGE difference between Russell and Navarre, to even use him as any sort of comparison to Russell is ridiculous. You're just digging yourself deeper and deeper here. You're right that Russell wasn't a No. 1 guy before the Sugar Bowl. But he was leagues ahead of "literally nowhere". Russell was a beneficary of the hype machine I'll be surprised if he lives up to expectations. I don't think there's any doubt that he benefited from the hype machine, what No. 1 pick hasn't? I don't think he's worthy of the first pick in the draft either, I'm just saying that he's been on people's radars forever. maybe, but not as a #1....that happened very recently. I think Johnson was the best #1 pick this year...
  21. "I'm going to Disneyland!!!!"
  22. Seriously, it's brutal. Everyone is stumbling over words and staring at each other. well, look who they are as individuals....
