  1. get him out who wanted to trade Lee and put Sori at first???
  2. haha! yeah, like Murton woulda played that any better... how could he not? is it windy there?
  3. Pujols popped it up in short left, Sori ran in and completely misplayed it, was off targe, tried to catch it with his arm out in front of him, just ugly
  4. i just discovered who she is the other day. umm...yea. She is very talented. Oh and she is a dead ringer for one of buddies soon to be ex-wife. you poor soul...how do you play that one?

  6. WHat did he say? He said Illinois, as a prank to STL should erect a giant statue of a man in croquet shorts about to tee it up (because of the arch). The way he led up to it was really what made the joke though I thought that was horrible. the arc is a beautiful piece of design :( But then it wouldn't be only aesthetically pleasing, it would be functional as well. Uh oh Rammy. it is both already aesthetically pleasing = function Not in the utilitarian sense of the word. especially in the Utilitarian sense. the Arc might be the best piece of minimalism in the entire state of Misery.

  9. granted his ERA has been nice, his WHIP has been north of 1.40. mechanics, being jerked around, being taunted by the water boy, i dont care, he walks more people then I can handle watching. I thought last year was his turning point, but my god i want to strangle him when he starts walking people
  10. maybe I am the only one around here who is seriously disappointed in Hill, but he has stunk this year. walking as many people as he has is ridiculous
  11. what about their future team, the Vikings? Jaguars. are the Jags likely to move or is this your wishful thinking?
  12. What I don't get is why the Bears are not considered "contenders" and yet Minnesota is? Both should have outstanding Defenses (if anybody remembers, the Bears have the CORE OF THEIR DEFENSE back again. Even tho they struggled under Babich the 1st yr, I expect major improvement in yr 2.). Both have questionable offense. Minnesota has basically a RB, and nothing else. Berrian won't be effective, as long as Jackson can't complete a pass over 10 yrds. Even tho he isn't great, but I take my chances on Grossman and his recievers over Jackson and his recievers. There is not one team in the NFC North, I fear. In fact, my bold predeiction will be...the Bears winning the division by two games. This is not true. The biggest difference between the 2 teams is that Minnesota has a good, solid, proven O-line, something that remains a big question mark for the Bears. They will be able to run the ball and just hope Jackson can be "good enough" to get them some wins. That's true, but you counter that with APete being the ONLY offensive option, and it becomes a wash, about their line. I have a feeling that Minny will play ALL THREE QBs next yr. not to mention Minn's oline is overrated - terrible at pass protection
  13. what about their future team, the Vikings?
  14. Sure...because it's there every year! If it's only in your area for one year, it's a unique experience worth checking out. No, because it's boring as hell and only weirdos go. you cant drink there? I've never been, but I'm sure if alcohol is involved you would get plenty of takers no matter the locale
  15. I doubt it. There's two things that bring people to the draft. One, passion for the game, which is limited at best LA. Two, nothing else to do. It's mid-to-late April in NY and weather is hit or miss. Nobody is spending a day at the beach or doing much outdoors. To them, 8 hours inside makes some sense. Plus, it's the same people every year. People are not dying to go to the draft. Whenever I hear people bring it up, they say, "it would be cool to go." Then they think about it for 2 minutes and realize, "No, that would actually suck." I buy the "nothing else to do" argument, but the lack of passionate fans relative to only LA is b.s.
