  1. the HAVE to be talking starting LT for Williams, right? He wont be the back up..will he? who gives a [expletive] what kind of competition they think they have at guard, Williams was better then all of it combined
  2. considering the near deathness of nearly having your spine snapped in two, yea we need to worry about him.
  3. I dont mind it. I would prefer Johnny Knox opposite Marshall, but Hester can fill that need too.
  4. I for one look forward to many more sac bunt attempts.
  5. *sigh* my fear that Theo would become more Cub-like then the Cubs would become Theo-like is coming true. we've ruined him
  6. i THOUGHT YOU GUYS ALL TOLD ME THE CUBS WOULD BE GOOD THIS YEAR
  7. See: I just knew you'd have something in common with him.
  8. Looks like he could catch a few with it
  9. I thought Spain was a rainy, dismal climate.
  10. Bears signed Shorty today, Evan rodriguez to the standard 4 year rookie deal
  11. I'm really beginning to worry about Marshall
  12. Legalization of marijuana for recreational use is on the ballot this fall in WA state
  13. Except they talk about Webb is for certain the starting LT. And still talk about moving Williams to LT, presumably as the backup. that makes zero sense. I thought they were saying Webb as the swing tackle/back-up
  14. As I look back at it, I think the entire NFL draft was odd this year. There were quality players that dropped, teams taking players that weren't well suited for their schemes ( McClellin for Chicago, Perry for GB, etc)
  15. Chris Williams at LT and just about anyone else at gaurd is better then Webb at LT and Williams at LG
  16. isnt AJ Greene from Auburn?
  17. He was projected as a 3-4 rd pick. Damn
  18. like I always say, you can never draft enough DB's. god what a joke
  19. Isn't Jeffery already down to 215 or something? 212. But he was also intentionally working to run faster and get down as low as possible so he could earn millions of dollars. If he ran a 4.48-4.54 (depending on who you ask) at 212, what does he run at 233lb, which is obviously his playing weight as that's what he was listed as in both 2010 and 2011 by South Carolina? Brandon Marshall ran in the 4.5x range. granted, he has a couple of inches on Jeffery
  20. they dont have to be
  21. I didn't realize you were as blind to the line problems as you appear to be. Anybody taken in the 4th this year is automatically more talented than 3 of 5 bears linemen. They didn't need a [expletive], let alone a 7th rounder that's just not true. there's no reason to take a 4th round lineman when you have a bunch of them. the line is absolutely fine except for LT. I agree they should have taken the Iowan OT in the first, or DeCastro, but pretending that Webb will eventually fill the need is crazy
