  1. i think Lovie just delegated all the leadership to Urlacher and Kreutz and let them deliver the tough messages. Lovie himself was just nice to everyone. That's completely wrong. Please stop praising Kreutz. Do you miss Benson?
  2. Kreutz was terrible and the team was a complete joke for half his time on the roster. There's always a need for leadership and Briggs was also a horrible option for that role. Urlacher filled that role and was a star impact player who made a difference. Kreutz was a freaking center, one of the least important jobs on the starting offense. His leadership was based on being a dick and didn't make anybody any better. He was the face of the offense when the team couldn't play offense. Kruetz was a 6 time pro bowler. He had his day as a leader, even if he was credited as being a leader past his best years
  3. Its a necessary, win or lose. Too often, because of the sports lexicon of dumb jocks, it's chalked up as meatheads bullying. Incognito was an ass, Kruetz was not
  4. I mean, for it to be tampering, Theo would have to say: "Yo, big guy, ask for a huge raise and when they say no, quit and we will sign you!!!!" Not: "Dude, I love your managerial style. If the Rays ever let you go, look me up" Which I dont believe the latter qualifies
  5. That is the very definition of tampering. Except that it kinda isn't. http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/tampering.html Yea, it could easily be said in a way that is entirely harmless to the Rays.
  6. Well, he has been underwhelming
  7. Will that help or hurt Trestmans game management skills?
  8. Meaning Rex Ryan as DC under Trestman? Yes
  9. Rob Rang's mock has them going Shane Ray at 8 (Thompson gone at 7, Collins picked 9). Ray has been amazing this year, but I don't know that he fits. He's smaller than Shea was at DE, much more athletic, but you'd be taking a top 10 pick as a guy you can't put on the field for 3 downs.....unless he can play the Von Miller role at SLB in the base D and DE in nickel. Might work if we go 3-4, otherwise I'd want Collins. He's a beast. i want Rex Ryan and his 3-4 I thought the 3-4 was a gimmick? ;)
  10. So, what will we lose out of this if they prove tampering?
  11. when he falls outside the top 20 in most advanced metrics for QBs it's worthwhile to consider if he's been a significant part of the problem has he? I didnt know that, I think I stopped paying too close attention when it was apparent we were really bad.
  12. when are you going to take away Cutler's ability to check out of runs? why would you want to take away Cutler's ability to check out of runs? because the guy sucks at safety
  13. I drank ALOT last night. It helped me sleep and kept me numb, but I just prolonged my agony into today. Maybe I should give up sports.
  14. Probably. I think the problem with Cutler is not the turnovers that people understandably freak out about, but the fact that he isn't making plays. He's been "fine", but this team is so bad they need him to be super beast to win. To me it just seems like he used to have a to of picks on really risky throws that I could live with because they had high reward. The high reward stuff has like vanished and it's like he's gotten worse protecting the ball in the pocket (re: fumbles) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk yea, he clearly is forcing things more and fumbles more then previous, but with this line I dont know how he is alive. his yard per average is low, but it isnt the lowest its ever been. He gets paid way more then he produces, but it just goes to point out that if you have revolving doors at guard and tackle life will just suck. 2 ints, one probably tipped by peppers and one bounces off of Longs head. idk. a fuckign circus really.
  15. Am I hearing that Tucker STILL isnt fired?
  16. idk. I kind of dont care anymore. I do know this, he sucks at safety. I mean, when Jordy Nelson is THAT wide open, Cutler has to lose his job, right?
  17. so we're going to burn his jersey? o......k my brother is one of these meatheads, talking about how the contract forced a bunch of really good d players out of Chicago. I cant think of one myself, but a BUNCH.
  18. Doesn't Cutler still have the best passer rating of his carer?
  19. Hooray Curtis Enis. Like when Obradovich sacked the steeler QB to seal the only win of the season, tied with Pitt for worst, and lost the coin flip and Terry Bradshaw No big loss
  20. This. Experiential Expertise
  21. but the article said a good player I thought we could sneak him by as one
  22. Let them have Baez
  23. No kidding, I wouldn't know tho honestly, I'm not an ELITE NFL QB like Jay
