    yea, I wonder how much of this goes back to him being the #1 pick, replacing Fields, being the focus of Hard Knocks, etc and was lingering before the season collapsed. Did the team quit on him and cause the collapse, or was it Waldrons stupidty that caused the collapse and thats when these anti-Williams issues came to surface? I think it matters, becuase if Thomas can right the offesnse, it could slowly evaporate and not be an issue by the end of the season

    I could see Kmet making a fuss as well, he was making comments about execution and decisions after the Commanders game (iirc)

    I imagine ooh, running around in the scamper drill for 8-10 seconds and having the play end in a 30 yard gain would be fun. otoh, running around in the scamper drill only to watch your indecisive qb get smashed is not i could see where veterans would get sick of it

    Nah, I’d just call the players bluff (the reported ones who want Bagent to start) and when it likely ends in an unavoidable nasty loss, I’d tell them “we tried it, now we go back to Caleb” and let them realize that if they don’t start playing at an expected level, they’ll be replaced the next game whats the worst that could happen? Bagent throws for +300 yards and the Bears win? If that’s the case than the issue really is Caleb

    I feel like Moore is being used to clear out and distract the defense while Cpt Slow takes his time to make his 1 move on the 3rd DB to get open. Meanwhile, since the play takes so damn long to develop, Williams is getting hammered I just feel like whatever they thought he was going to bring to the table ain't happing and its had a detrimental effect on Moores production
