  1. Wrong thread on my part, I was thinking of Ross (sd) replacing someone in the rotation.
  2. That was my argument. I mean, this series sucked, but the season and the 2 rounds before that were pretty awesome. Only 4 teams made it as far as the Cubs did this year. Of course, I'm sad that it's over, and I'm not at all happy with how it ended, but I just can't be that miserable. Disappointed, but not miserable. Yeah. They were. I thought this was going to be my favorite sports team ever. Actually, they were for a few days. 2003 Cubs passed them this week. There was zero joy I gained from this series. Then you are a dead robot. This team reminds me more of the 1984 Bears or the 2008-2009 Blackhawks. Full of talent, everyone in the world knew it, and the following season they were all world. I'm very excited for 2016.
  3. Just teach Schwarbs LF and leave it there
  4. Trade him to the AL for a top end rotation guy, it's the only way I'd let Schwarbs go
  5. It seems like a lot of Schwarbs issues in the field are judgement mistakes. Get someone in to teach him how to read a fly ball, stay in front of line drives and grounders and you may end up with an average defender with Babe Ruth's bat
  6. Would switching Soler to LG and Schwarbs RF make any sense?
  7. What's the projection for CEjr? Is he still starter material?
  8. To clarify: he's a big guy and not that great a C, his knees will wear out by the time he gets it figured out.
  9. Schwarber at C scares me, I'd prefer to keep teaching him OF
  10. What we need is big time power bat screw pitchers Oh nvm
  11. Soler is the best guy in the playoffs at getting on base. Schwarbs has name recognition because of his 5 hrs. I'd put him behind Bryant and force them to pitch to KB. Rizzo provides power further down the lineup. Also, if I'm JM, I'm telling Fowler to ambush the first pitch of the game. The Mets pitchers have consistently started the game (and inning) with a fb strike. Drill the bastard, and if you don't make an out or don't make it on base, start to prolong the ab as long as possible.
  12. I love Soler batting second and Schwarber further down, but I'd switch Rizzo and Schwarbs
  13. It shows the play from the third base side slowed wayyy down
  14. Can Mark Bellhorn throw out the first pitch?
  15. That's the thing tho. Theos plan worked so well, they were a year early according to everyone and Theo was hoping for a 5 year run. We might get 6-7 really great years out of this group
