  1. grew up inside the halls of a charter franchise, in wealth, long life and gets to die before the AI/bitcoin coup is fully complete!
  2. I would be too purely from a family / business standpoint, but it is the Bears so who knows
  3. Im sure they had that figured out years ago .......
  4. lol Chris jones “I wear the same gloves,” Jones said. “I wear the same cleats. I don’t change up cleats throughout the season. My gloves smell like a dead animal. Especially if I get a sack, then it’s over with. I’m not changing them up. Here lately I’ve been wearing long sleeves. We haven’t lost in the long sleeves. I’m gonna knock on wood. Yes, little things, man, little things, even my meal prep. If I had a good game last game and I would eat the same thing as the same thing I ate last week, so it’s like little things that are important, you know what I mean?” https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6115889/2025/02/05/chiefs-super-bowl-carson-wentz-chris-jones/
  5. that applies to most nfl picks, for sure. But not really for multiple pro-bowl, all pro types. Garrett is still at that higher level of play. multiple years in a row at pro-bowl and all pro, the most recent being 2024...
  6. Warren Sapp was 36 when he retired but, look at it this way; if you cant get Carter in the draft, who would be a better pick than Garrett?
  7. I dont think Garrett is too old, DE's can perform well into their 30's and Garrett has a long and great track record. I think he's better then anything the Bears would get at 10, which will likley be the second best OT of which they could likely get comperable talent early in the 2nd
  8. Josh Sweat plz also, speaking of disappointments....Chase Young may never live up to his draft status
  9. I love the coaching staff progesss so far
  10. injuries are one of those things that go 2 directions: big ones derail careers, little ones can disappear and never be a problem after a certain stage. Jenkins is still in the latter catagory. I'm not sure I'd be ready to give up on him just yet unless the reported (before draft) cronic back issue is whats effecting him. In that case, he's the former, and time to move on
  11. Do any of those teams need a guard as badly as the bears do?
  12. Dexter has more sacks and qb hits
  13. if you dont think you're good, no one else will
  14. as my dad would say, " fu*k em"
  15. Maybe he took some shrooms and they started kicking in making him think he was running through a field of lavender holding hands with his bae (or beau)
  16. They pretty much signed him the first reasonable day to do so id day they did fine
  17. Raw was right; the Tomlin and McVey trade proposals were more a smoke screen to tell Ben “we’ll pay anything for the right coach” hopefully Ben is the right coach!
  18. According to reports, Poles wanted to move on from Eberflus but wasn’t allowed to. That seems plausible
  19. It’s hit the mainstream https://sports.yahoo.com/bears-reportedly-finalizing-deal-to-hire-lions-offensive-coordinator-ben-johnson-as-head-coach-203542792.html
  20. Agreed. And I haaate trading away picks
  21. ask the 2024 Bears if coaching matters I'm not sure if Tomlin is worth whatever the Bears were willing to trade, but good coaches are worth whatever they get paid
  22. and thats great as long as they get the best HC
