  1. where are you getting those? Self calculated. PF^2.37 / (PF^2.37 + PA^2.37) Ah ok.
  2. at the time, I worked for one of the top arch firms where everyone dresses their attitude. The next day I wore my Rizzo jersey and looked completely out of place. I did not care.
  3. Chris Collingsworth fawning over the Packers and their "misfortune" with the personal foul calls was delicious last night. I don't care if he's right, every year it seems at least one team suffers the penalty fate. The bears have certainly dealt with ticky-tack calls. Yesterdays game case-in-point
  4. Well their expected win % puts them at a .464 win percentage vs their actual .438. Bears expected W-L is .743 vs actual of .625 where are you getting those?
  5. yea, the schedule makers blow this year. and it isn't EVERY year they get the bye 4 weeks in, but it happens enough
  6. I mean, he is another pass rusher. The Bears pass rush was actually pretty decent today, despite not any sacks before garbage time. Wasn't horrible last week also without Mack. Irvin would be worth it to add another pass rusher to the mix, maybe rejuvenate Mack for the 2nd half push, and to keep him away from other contenders. But honestly, I don't think he's really necessary. Mack, Floyd, and Lynch are enough when added to a good 4-man rotation at DL (Hicks, Goldman, RRH, Nichols), and I'd like to see more of Isaiah Irving. But I won't complain about an upgrade at any position. Wouldn't claim him on waivers (and pay his $4M salary), but if nobody claims him I'd imagine the Bears would be a preferable spot for him. \ dont disagree at all. However, the idea of two former Raiders helping the Bears win the division as Gruden and co continue to spiral into hell would be sooooo much fun
  7. I'd be stunned if 10 wins beats out the vikings unless 2 of those wins are against them
  8. any interest in Bruce Irving?
  9. Who thought this was going to be close?
  10. Buffalos D might be good, but their offense is killing them
  11. Did Croon drop it or did Jackson strip it?
  12. In all fairness, when Mitch misses he misses EVERYONE
  13. I do think some of his success is due to good scheming by the coaching staff (but that shouldn't be a knock against him - do you think Mike Glennon is running as successful as an offense? Do you think Jared Goff is lighting it up in a John Fox offense?) and I do think he has some accuracy issues but I think a big part of that is footwork. You see his issues when he's hurried or scrambling. A concern but certainly fixable. He has also made some really really good throws and is starting to go through his progressions better which he wasn't doing earlier in the year (possibly because its a new offense). And then of course the ability to make plays with his feet doesnt make him a better passer but it makes him a better QB as long as he's not scrambling too soon. I mean Alex Smith isn’t a bad NFL QB by any stretch but they made him look like a legit MVP candidate for a lot of last season. I guess we won’t know for sure until they need a back-up to go in there for extended time. I’m just not encouraged with Mitch, beating a good team with Mitch being the reason why they won might change things for me. it was also Smith's 5th season under Andy Reid........
  14. not to point out the obvious, but this post clearly demonstrates how detached the majority of nsbb'ers have been towards the NFL in general the last few years and how loosely you've paid attention to any of it. but yea, DrDitkabisky to you...chuuuump
  15. Welp, 5th in point dif, but Kings of the North
  16. You're not getting 2nds for them. My honest guess is Howard gets you a 5th. Doubt Floyd even gets that. There were literally articles this past week saying we won't be able to justify picking up his option year. Howard has more value then a 5th. But I wouldn’t be looking at trading Floyd for a draft pick, a DB looking for a change, however....
  17. Keep Floyd. With the upheaval destined for our secondary, I’m not sure I want to shake up the D too much. Unless we could get Peterson
  18. Ive been saying all season long, either (find a way to) use Howard or (trade) him. he has value
  19. Bears currently 4th in the league in net points https://www.nfl.com/standings/league/2018/REG?sortField=netPts&sortIsAscending=false #trubiskysuxxxxxxxx
  20. What happened on the Long injury?
  21. 2 decent throws on the day, but man Darnold looks unimpressive
