  1. that loss really sucked but idk if i remember a worse regular season loss (independent of playoff implications or whatever) than week 1 in my entire couple of decades watching this team I think if that game was played any week but week 1 the Bears hold on to win. The only worse loss I can remember was I think 1989, the Bears were having a decent season and blew a 23-0 lead at Minnesota. Ditka wanted to kill Jim Harbaugh for throwing at least 1 pick 6. I will have to go checkout profootballreference.com and see if my memory serves me correctly. he did, threw it into the flat and I think Joyner took it the other way for 6. Ditka nearly had a head pop on the sidelines ETA: it was 1992 and it was Todd Scott who intercepted the pic 6
  2. It can be 100% on a curve I guess, in the sense that a little wear is normal in week 13, but no sense rushing him back at all for this one. if the vikings had lost last night, i'd agree but if we lose this one and minnesota beats new england our sphincters will be pretty tight. now that GB is all but out, I'd like to get MN out of the picture as well. But how would MN beat NE? The vikings haven't looked all that special this year. Last nights win against GB is probably more an indication of how bad GB has been playing. Isn't their secondary riddled with injuries?
  3. The most important game left is week 17. That is the one likely to have tiebreaker implications. Otherwise it's just a race to 10 wins. If you wanna be super duper optimistic the following week against the Rams will have Bye week tie breaker implications. Either way, sitting Trubisky is the easy choice if he is anything less than 100% eh, Bears win on Sunday w/a Vikings loss puts MN deep in the hole - MN plays at NE. I'd hate to let off the gas pedal. Besides, who is 100% at this point in the season? As long as you aren't risking further or permanent injury to Mitch's shoulder and the pain doesn't limit him, I don't see why you sit him. If he's limited because of the injury then you start Daniels.
  4. even when he had guys open Rodgers was overthrowing them. His knee is supposedly fine, so why the bad throws?
  5. Bears magic number is 4 Lets make it 2 with a win and Vikings loss
  6. GREEN BAY SUCKS
  7. Packers look like horsefeathers across the board
  8. Rodgers looks like horsefeathers
  9. I blame the cheese.
  10. at this point with 9 days to rest the D and give Chase more time with the 1st team in practice, I'd almost sit him just to make sure he heals properly
  11. I was already a fan, Bryce. Now, ever more so. SKI U MAH
  12. We sit ON WISCONSIN! SKI U MAH
  13. 6 INT 9 WINS Oh I agree. Still, hes playing very well
  14. Lost in the Eddie Jackson hype (absolutely deserved) is the fact that Kyle Fuller is quietly having a better year then last year. 15 pass defenses and 5 ints. So much for any “contract year” theory of his last year. Fuller has become the 1st rd DB he was picked to be.
  15. He broke on his pick 6 a good 8 yards away from the wr AND weaved between two other wr’s and dbs. Unbelievable. Straight up street ball. Stafford never saw him because Jackson was nowhere near the wr when he threw it.
  16. I would agree. Chase played better then I was expecting and the D never broke. So happy with the short week, short handed win.
  17. Their ballhawking bailed out their tendency to give up long plays and long drives late. That pick by Eddie Jackson was insane, best I’ve seen all year. Eddie went’a gamblin and won big
  18. What do you attribute it to? Poor conditioning? Dunno. Maybe that, maybe teams call plays differently against them late. But it sure doesn’t seem like a fluke. They do. They pass more. Thats more efficient. BEARS WIN
  19. Oh man escaping with a win is awesome
