    Wow.. Yea I don't know how much the FS/SS thing matters. Fwiw, Amos was listed as the FS yesterday and Bush the SS. A claiming team on Swearinger has control left too? Forgetting this year, could be a cheap Amos plug for next year? Swearinger would be a luxury.

    there is that, but i think the move got so much ridicule that the national guys have taken a narrative and run with it. i mean, the expectations for a first year qb playing in the situation he played in last year shouldn't have been so high nor was his performance so bad that he should have been looked at all that negatively, imo. I think you are grossly exaggerating how much the national guys care about that trade. If he does well his national reputation will improve. But he's looked pretty bad at times so it'll take time. He was a solid pick at #2. No one thought Mahomes would be better at this point, arm strength be damned.

    Mike Brown seemed to set the tone from what I remember. When he was hurt the drop off was very noticeable. Urlacher called the plays but Brown called all the audibles, setting up the secondary. Harris was having an all-pro year. We got hosed

    but that was the hallmark of the Packers for yeeeeaarrrs..."we DRAFT talent". Every team eventually runs out of talent when they have a few at the top sucking up the financial resources and winning enough to put them consistently out of the top 10 draft wise. Even, the Patriots(!) will meet that fate eventually.

    #12 will be a year older too, and with a bigger chunk of your cap hit under his belt. The Vikings will likely be a bigger challenger. but everyone will be older Not THAT old. Hell be 36

    yesterday is the type of game Trubisky was drafted for, pocket awareness, reading the field, sharp passes. Hopefully he keeps growing on those aspects

    Yeah, that's usually a 1-2 week injury, so we *should* be in the clear. The question now is how much should Nagy take his foot off the gas the next two weeks. Play next week like normal and them treat week 17 like a preseason game? Or knock both teams in the teeth and hopefully the Vikings completely out of it
