  1. Tell me again how the players union is so damn strong? (Not you, specially, but to the forum in general)
  2. Yu takes a stand in the great “Popeyes vs Chik-fil-A” debate!
  3. Only player to hit 60+ in three seasons at the time, did Bonds end up doing it too?
  4. He was the top ss in the draft but why did he fall to #16?
  5. Well Trump went after him first right? I missed that
  6. So now Brees feels compelled to tweet at Trump about what it is all about? Jesus
  7. Isnt that kind of what you do now?
  8. Well, at least they’ve learned their lesson and totally aren’t blowing another window on overinvesting in defense and underinvesting in the core of the offense EHH...they've invested heavily in offense, spending a top 5 pick on a QB is a big deal. They just flat out missed
  9. This millenium? Carimi and Williams immediately come to mind (not that it changes the overall point) I had to look up the name but Columbo was the guy I always used to think of as the “well that didn’t work so let’s never draft a lineman again” pick. When they drafted him, I exclaimed “WHO THE horsefeathers IS MARC COLUMBO”. My girlfriend at the time thought it was hilarious and wrote that quote out on a piece of tracing paper and slipped it into the cover of my Modest Mouse Building Nothing out of Something CD jacket. I still have that note
  10. https://www.chicagobears.com/news/bears-mourn-the-passing-of-michael-b-mccaskey Wow, Virginia outlasts her son Sry to hear it was horsefeathering cancer tho
  11. the who? Are they still touring?
  12. that was my first year watching sports (pretty much spurred by the jordan comeback) and i was so horsefeathering mad about that. between the nick anderson play and then that, i HATED the magic as much as I've hated any of my teams' rivals since. i imagine the satisfaction i felt at that sweep the next year is the closest thing I have to what people felt about beating detroit in 91. Beating detroit in 91 was more like watching the Hawks beat Vancouver in 2010, we finally got past them. Plus we were going to the finals for the first time so it felt justified. But beating Orlando just felt like pure revenge, and maybe a little greedy. It had an element of “ohhhh, this is how the 1% lives”
  13. I think I remember hearing she was murdered, but I don't remember the rest of it or who did it.
  14. I can see that, its like the gathering of the juggalos but with less mental capacity You realize that IMB used to only converse with me with the same "totally normal behavior" stuff as recently as this winter, right? If we are agreeing on something, it just means we are right. The Jets are boring AF and so is Tom. I have no idea why you are going after me now, and I really don't think you ought to be wading into the realm of evaluating others' mental capacities. I'm not going after you at all, just noting that I agree that you and imb! make a wonderful couple. I'm happy for you both really.
  15. I can see that, its like the gathering of the juggalos but with less mental capacity
  16. Some of my best friends in the world are Cowboy fans, cousins who grew up there an who I loved doing stuff with. We agree on two things: 1) horsefeathers gb 2) jerry jones might actually be the issue “But you know. Screw tom and the fact he likes the jets” - look at me I’m cool, chunky
  17. Like, in the offseason? Sure. But the Jets just rolled that draft. Dallas didn’t do horsefeathers except sign Andy Dalton. (Thats not really true, Dallas had a good draft, but horsefeathers sticking up for the Dallas Cowboys) Yeah the Cowboys had a really solid draft and some of the talking heads liked their FA during the draft, iirc. I think the Cowboys have a legit chance to be a top 3 NFC team this year. The Jets may be there in the AFC in a few years I suppose. But upside just for this year give me the Cowboys. Every year: Boys going to the Super Bowl -Espn Every year: Dallas out EARLY THIS YEAR IS SURELY DIFFERENT
  18. Why? At this point they have more upside then the horsefeathering cowboys Define upside? Because the Cowboys are certainly better than the Jets currently. Like, in the offseason? Sure. But the Jets just rolled that draft. Dallas didn’t do horsefeathers except sign Andy Dalton. (Thats not really true, Dallas had a good draft, but horsefeathers sticking up for the Dallas Cowboys)
  19. Why? At this point they have more upside then the horsefeathering cowboys Even if the Jets won the Superbowl, which they won't, no one would care about the Jets. Its the nfl thread. No one cares about any team but their own. If Tom wants to post about the Jets, who cares? If you don’t like Tom, ignore him. But you know Dylan, just gotta cyber creep cuz he’s nothing more then a horsefeathering wanna be Texan anyway.. i guess thats the dick you want to suck too now?
  20. SHUT UP ABOUT THE JETS Why? At this point they have more upside then the horsefeathering cowboys
  21. You're not totally wrong. Obviously the skills at S gave greatly shifted already with offenses. You're still looking at differences in how the position is played, that you aren't gonna literally just drop in a CB without prior development at S (and this year will likely suck to try and do a crash course since team activities will be restricted). You still want a good run support player who can also cover a bigger receiver in 12 personnel, probably at least 50% of the time. And most importantly make sure Jackson is that single high role again unlike with Clinton-Dix, where he was forced into that box S position a lot instead. the shear number of CB's on this roster should facilitate one taking on the S position, quantity is a quality. But I get what you are saying about forcing Jackson to play up as opposed to the single high pos he excels at. I'm just not convinced a traditional SS is the answer Clowney: the news out here is saying that the Seahawks are aggressively trying to sign him, hence the Fluker and Britt cuts
  22. Question: Why are they available? Answer: As running backs lose importance in the nfl, so do safeties and mlb’s Just play with 3 cb’s and Jackson
  23. we dont need a safety
