  1. Ok. Getting pretty excited for football season to get here.
  2. This reminds me of when I was a little boy watching wrestling and watching Hulk Hogan turn into a bad guy. Its like LeBron just dropped a leg drop on all his fans and turned into a bad guy and joined the NWO (heat).
  3. A week ago, I had a neutral opinion of James, and I didn't have a strong interest in where he went. But this fiasco has been the biggest "hey, look at me, I'm important" production I have ever seen in sports. Straight up ego massage. And it culminated with the most unceremonious f-you to a former team (not to mention a real hometown team) ever. You tell the Cavs FO you're leaving, take out an ad in the paper, and sign a contract. I find no fault with Wade. Aren't Wade and Bosh (or maybe just Wade) making a documentary about this whole thing? They're the same kind of attention whores that LeBron is. I heard it was just Bosh? Anyways it would not surprise me if when this documentary comes out we find out it was planned the whole time and they laugh about it leading up to it.
  4. I wonder how big the ratings are going to be for Miami's first game?
  5. http://www.cleveland.com/lebron/ Pretty sure you can kill many hours just reading some of this.
  6. Good try by Dan Gilbert. He can't possibly think they will win a title before LeBron does. I don't blame him however, I would be upset to if I just realized my window with the best player in the league just passed.

  8. Haha Cleveland vs. Miami in the first round would be so hard to watch if your a Cav's fan.
  9. That sound you hear is the thousands of fans jumping on the Miami Heat bandwagon.
  10. Bahahahaha. That is great. http://www.weallscheme.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/lebron-or-bust.jpg
  11. EDIT: stupid blackberry. Double post .
  12. At 5pm tomorrow Brett Favre should announce that he is coming back.
  13. Regular season wins don't always matter when it comes to the playoffs. Two times in a row Cleveland had a great record and did squat in the playoffs. In the playoffs, Cleveland's lack of secondary options means that a good team will beat them 4/7. This is much harder to do in the regular season. The playoffs are about matchups. Cleveland doesn't match up very well against playoff teams. All I said was I think the Bucks are better than the bulls Yep - That Brandon Jennings/Andrew Bogut/John Salmons/Drew Gooden quartet scares the piss out of me! The Bucks went 22-9 in the 2nd half last year (bascially around the time we got Salmons) Almost beat Atlanta in the first round with out Andrew Bogut. This year Charlie Bell, Dan Gadzuric, Kurt Thomas, Hakim Warrick and Jodie Meeks won't be on the team. That alone will be an improvment. They added a good scorer and rebounder in Maggette and a good rebounder in Gooden. Jennings was a 20 year old rookie last year, who didn't even play that much the year before. He will improve. Oh and you realize Andrew Bogut is a really really good basketball player right? Like probably only behind Howard in the East good. They have good depth coming off the bench with LRBM, Delfino, and Illyasova. Douglas-Roberts will be in the mix somewhere as well. Just need a back up point guard to really solidify the bench. The Bucks and Bulls are really similar actually. Both have a really nice PG-C combo. Rose obviously is the better PG, however Noah is no Andrew Bogut either. The Boozer signing should really help on the offensive end. Obviously the Bulls are gonna need a couple or at least one real 3PT threat for Rose. That would really help alot. What does the Bulls bench look like right now? (Assuming they don't sign LeBron)

Redd will never suit up for the Bucks again. Their starting lineup will probably be: B. Jennings PG J. Salmons SG C. Maggette SF D. Gooden PF A. Bogut C Bench: Douglas-Roberts Ridnour Mbah a Moute Ilyasova Sanders Hobson Gallon Delfino That's probably a top 4-6 team but not top 3. Take out Ridnour. Delfino could start instead of Maggette as well. Should battle anywhere from a 3-6 seed.
  15. Actually they traded for Maggette.

I don't see Redd playing another game with the Bucks even if he gets healthy.

  18. Who said anything about 60 wins? I see no reason to think they can't win 50 to 55. They should be in the hunt for a top 4 seed in the playoffs. Right now Boston and Orlando r prob better but other than those 2 I don't see a team clearly better than the Bulls especially if theu get a shooter. You said you'd put them against any other team in the east. That sounds like a 60 win team to me. I'd put the Heat, Celtics, and Magic as better, and the Bulls probably on the same level as the Hawks and Bucks. I would put the Bucks ahead of them as well. A 50-win team in the Celtics dismantled Cleveland this year. Regular season wins don't matter. What?

  20. Where do you have the Celtics? And the Bucks?
  21. He deserved it
  22. So Noah is getting a lot of love during this. (Which he should). But I was wondering, where do you rank Noah among Eastern Confrence centers right now?
