  1. Love the Saturday sign. And I would love to read above that text message that says "HUG!!" from Payton.
  2. I just for the first time realized the A's and Mariners play a regular season game next Wednesday in Japan. So stupid.
  3. Drew Gooden welcome back to earth.
  4. Forte has done a ton for this team, yet every single offseason the Bears have brought in a FA RB and paid him more money. Bringing in Kevin Jones when Forte was a rookie was a non-issue. Paying a bunch of money to Chester Taylor was understandable after Forte came off a down year after 2 years of a lot of touches. Bringing in Marion Barber to do short-yardage was a little slap in the face, but something Forte could overlook. Now they brought in a 4th RB in 4 years. Bush is guaranteed 7 Mil. Forte is only guaranteed 7.7Mil. Sure it's a lot of money, but this is the NFL. Forte blows out his knee this year, it's likely he'll never seen 7.7Mil the rest of his career. Disrespectful is too strong of a word that gets thrown out too much by athletes, but it is a slap in the face when your team keeps paying guys off the street more money than you are making at your same position. he should have taken the money to begin with. running backs are replaceable Agreed 100 percent. Michael Bush is a great signing for Chicago. He can catch the ball better then what people think as well. Obviously Forte is more talented but Bush is a great fallback/2nd option to him.
  5. Wisconsin is like the new Purdue. Cool regular season team, one hell of a dog in March. They lost to a team that lost 2 times all year by 1 point. Not the end of the world. That isn't really the point. For all the success Bo has had, Wisconsin has only advanced past the round of 16 once under his watch. Are they suppose to be in the Final 4 every year?
  6. Tracy Porter signed with Denver. Always liked him.

  8. Syracuse was so much more athletic. Great shooting kept the Badgers in the game. Oh well, losing Taylor will hurt but getting Dekker should be fun.
  9. Unless the person trying you was a Bears fan who probably tainted the video. Or even worse, NFL Network makes up a story in wanting to be the first one to reporting it and they find out it was a mistake. In which case you'd avoid suspension even though what was reported was true. Obfuscation of the truth FTW! And you would prove your case and you would be proven innocent by the court system, and if NFL Network doesn't leak a false story it never becomes news. Feel bad for others who might end up getting a tainted video as well.

  11. There is no way or should the NFL reduce Payton's suspension.
  12. This was the best part. Hey Drew, how about you have defensive players put money on your head every week and get cheap shot after cheap shot and then we will see if you need an explanation for it. Saints got off easy, should of been 1st round picks not 2nd round picks. So glad Thompson picked McCarthy over Payton. /end rant.
  13. The Bucks are playing really well right now. So that's nice.
  14. Oh please don't be some sick joke. Tebow in Green Bay would be so awesome.
  15. ELCABALLO45 yes no
  16. Ryan Braun has passed over 25 tests in his career already. He passed 3 this past year. And suddenly one test comes back and its the highest ever tested by MLB and this doesn't seem odd to anyone? No one has ever said it was a PED issue or any form of steroid. I guarantee he's not the first person to ever win an appeal. If ESPN doesn't report it no one even knows about this. And just because everyone is saying he won the case on a technicality doesn't mean that was the only thing wrong with the test. He was the screaming he was innocent from Day 1, and guess what? He was. Get over it. Move on.
  17. Good for Braun. Sad his reputation almost had to be ruined by terrible reporting by ESPN. Good to know the process does work for innocent people.
  18. you don't sound like you understand what you're talking about If Gomez were to play a full season at last year's rate, he'd be a 5 win player, while being terrible at the plate and a below average baserunner. You have no problem with that evaluation? i don't know, because that probably wouldn't ever happen just treat Gomez's '11 defense like a three week stretch where a player hits .400; you're not going to expect him to keep it up, but he obviously helped the team immensely with his glove and quit saying he was a below average base runner, as that definitely wasn't the case: success on steals lifted his wOBA 16 pts Gomez played in 153 games in 2008 with the Twins and posted a 2.6 WAR.
  19. That he's the best defensive CF in baseball?
  20. The Bucks have just beaten the Heat for the 2nd time this year. They also just beat the Lakers last Saturday. Without Bogut (Big shock). Makes sense.
  21. Finley on the Bears with Cutler and in a offense that actually uses the tight end would suck.

Which makes it all the more awesome. More between 3-5

  25. for a former #1 overall pick who plays in a huge market i think he's weirdly underrated. i don't put him with brees, brady, rodgers but i'd say he is right there with the next group (rivers, romo?, stafford?, vick). i guess i'd go #5 right now - brees/brady/rodgers in whatever order, then rivers, then e. manning. After the year Rivers just had I would put him ahead of Rivers IMO. But I would still put Peyton ahead of both of them.
