  1. Clutch last 2 possessions by LBJ. Caused a difficult shot by Durant and finished it with 2 clutch free throws. Miami did exactly what they were suppose to do, took back home court advantage.
  2. HOLY CRAP!
  3. Should be an awesome series. I picked these 2 teams to make it here to start the playoffs, but the league won big here. The 2 best players in the league, the best home court in the NBA in OKC. Should be an awesome series. Miami in 6.
  4. The Dodgers do not have a hit yet after 8 inning. The Mariners have used 5 different pitchers.
  5. No he doesn't and like pretty much everything Hawk talks about, he's wrong. Pierzynski could have broken Zobrist's ankle with his slide yesterday and I wouldn't have faulted Zobrist one bit if he would have gone Michael Barrett and decked Pierzynski. The wasn't a takeout slide, it was total bush league. Pierzynski deserved to get plunked, he did, and that should have been the end of it. Instead, that moron Sox pitcher decided to try to hit Zobrist, which he couldn't even do successfully. He deserved to get tossed and he did because it was completely unnecessary. I am saying the part where he mentioned umpires need to be held responsible. not necessarily for that part but overall.
  6. Hahahahahaahahahahaha. EPIC. The worst part tho is he sorta has a point.
  7. Dominating game 1 for Miami. Scary how good Wade and LeBron are when they play together.
  8. 2007 probably. So not that long ago. As a Brewer fan I remember being excited to get Carlos Lee because he drove in over 200 runs the past 2 years (hence screen name that I made on brewerfan.net and I just kept it) and because he hit .305 the year before. At the end of the 2005 season he had 32 homers and 114 RBI's and thinking how great he was. Little did I know his OPS that year was .811 while playing below average defense in left. Sigh.
  9. The was the best game ever pitched in the history of baseball. Never have seen anything like that movement in my life. Sad to see him go. Maybe CSN or MLBN will replay that game sometime soon with him retiring? He's All 20 on Youtube at least. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=nDgnfm3NOVY That curveball to Dave Clark at the 1:25 mark is just unbelievable. Just about to post that.
  10. Derek Lowe pitched a CG shutout today, and didn't record a strikeout. Lowe improves his ERA to 2.05. That AL I tell you, just so much harder to pitch in.
  11. All class from the Lakers as usual.
  12. Cold Blooded 3
  13. Gasol is such a whiner. But he [and Blake(!?)] are the reason they're going to win this game. Steve Blake is shooting out of his mind. Makes up for Lawson, Brewer and Miller going 8-10 from three in Game 6. Corey Brewer playing is more amazing than Blake making 5 tonight.
  14. Seriously crowd, they stopped playing. You could hear the whistle.
  15. Gasol is such a whiner. But he [and Blake(!?)] are the reason they're going to win this game. Steve Blake is shooting out of his mind.
  16. Great D from World Peace on that last trip.
  17. I love how every single NBA player acts like they never foul. Bynum and Gasol has hammered a Nugget on the last couple trips and no call, Gasol gets called for one and he complains.
  18. Can't look at Al Harrington and not think this..
  19. COULD HAVE. NOT COULD OF. :banghead: Also, Kobe got a Finals MVP in a Series where he went 6/24 in Game 7. And Kobe has won All Defensive First Team the last few seasons, beating out guys like Afflalo, Igoudala, Sefolosha and Raja Bell in those years. The award is a clearly a joke. It's Final's MVP not game 7 MVP. (He still had 15 rebounds that game). And I do agree with your second point, however Kobe even without the award has been a top 5 defensive player in the league while he was in his prime.
  20. MVP 5x champion 2x Finals MVP 2x Scoring Champion (could of been 3 this year) 14x All Star 9x All NBA First Team 9x All Defensive first team Yeah dude is way overrated.
  21. The Nuggets are much faster than the Lakers, but its still surprising how many easy baskets the Nuggets are still getting off of it.
  22. Ty Lawson is pretty fast. Decent start for Denver.
  23. Such a terrible shot by Josh Smith
