This is such a strange situation. I understand what SSR and others are saying. I think Milton wanted to come to Chicago to get a "fresh" start. I think Cub fans were willing to give him his fresh start, but after his slow start I think Cub fans just said, screw this lets get on his case. And I think once that happened and the booing started Milton (who is really sensitive) went on the offensive. I belive when the Cubs got Bradley, they were expecting a .900 OPS outta him. He obviously has not met this. He has not hit for anywhere close to the power they expected outta him (.400 SLG). And RBI is a terrible way to judge a players value, but when the Cubs signed him the fans "expected" more then 34 RBI, no matter how dumb that may sound to guys who understand that RBI is a terrible way to judge a players production. To some fans 34 RBI means, terrible player. I can also see what other guys are saying, They payed Milton to drive in runs. Even though that sounds stupid and again RBI IS A TERRIBLE way to judge a players performance. Even with him hitting with guys on base, your not gonna drive in alot of runs with a .400 SLG%. Cub fans who boo Bradley are pissed because he is not hitting the home runs and not driving in runs. However, he is still being productive. The guy is still getting on base at around .400, so he is still a valuable player. You can always find a spot for a guy with a OBP of .400. If Soriano/Soto doesn't completly crap the bed this year and Aramis doesn't get hurt. Bradley wouldn't even be a issue right now. He is not hitting as well as everyone expected but he is still productive. He should'nt be getting booed everytime he gets out and everytime he goes out to RF. That would drive me crazy to if I was him. However, he also doesn't need to talk and say something stupid everytime he gets the chance. He is making it worse.
