  1. Yep...3 outs away. But a Cardinals win keeps the Cubs playoff elimination number at 3 for another day. I have only been here since 07, do Card fans come here to brag about winning the divison after it happens?
  2. Cards clinch the divison with a win, right?
  3. What are the kittens doing though? Are they attacking people? Because if that is the case, I could see him wanting to get rid of the Kittens ASAP
  4. Haha, Iowa is winning
  5. Dodgers clinch a playoff spot
  6. Greinke deserves it no doubt, but CC does pitch in the band box known as Yankee stadium. Again, Greinke deserves it.
  7. Damnit, Tigers take the lead. Span for Minnesota is having a good game, 3-4, 5 rbi's. 7-2 Twins
  8. Damnit, tie game in Chicago
  9. Tigers cut into the Sox lead, 5-3. Cabrera 3-3, HR (32) 3 rbi's
  10. 3-0 St. Louis is Colorado
  11. Beyond the fact that this isn't true(Kubel, Cuddyer, Span), if it were true, why would it only be so if they win the division? Michael Cuddyer is red hot since Morneau went down.
  12. Twins up 5-2 in the 4th Tigers down 5-1 in the 5th Braves won already to go to 3 GB. I really want the Twins to make the playoffs so I can go to a playoff game this year.
  13. They are still a good team but not the team of last year. Even my brother who is a huge Titans fan admits that. The secondary is awful and by awful I mean worst in the league so far. They could win 10-11 games at best unless the secondary gets sorted out they start getting a push up the middle. That would be down from last year. It's easily one of the most talented secondaries in the game today. The secondary has been bad since the fourth quarter of the Pittsburgh game, but a lot of that has been blown coverages - likely due to adjustments to the new scheme. I'll be utterly shocked if the secondary doesn't improve significantly. Like I said before, we won't win 13 games this year, but we were extremely unlikely to match that again this year. I've thought since before the year started that we were likely a 10-11 win team this year. We can still reach that, even after the 0-2 start. I'm sorry but Nick Harper, Cortland Finnegan, Chris Hope and Michael Griffin do not equal one of the best secondaries in the game. They aren't as bad as they have played but they aren't top 10 either. They have benefited from a defensive line that has been great against the run and capable of getting pressure on the QB while only rushing four. They are likely somewhere between 10-20 and now that they have to step up this year because of the d-line not being as good we'll see if where they fall. Griffin and Hope are 2 of the better safties in the league. Finnegan is probably a top 10 corner back. Its a talented secondary
  14. Juan Uribe and Jeff Baker batting clean up.
  15. Twins up 6-4 in the 5th Tigers down 2-0 still in the 4th Ludwick homers to make it 1-1 in the 7th in COL.
  16. Twins up 6-1 in the 5th Tigers down 2-0 in the 7th Peavy 8 k's for Chicago. ------------------------------------- Rockies up 1-0 on St. Louis Atlanta (3 gb) won 4-1 over Washington. No one cares really but I really want the Braves to make the playoffs
  17. Greinke has yet to pitch against the Twins this year. I found that kind of strange.
  18. Pretty awesome story here (pretty long also but worth it) http://arkansasvarsity.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=992976
  19. Average defense. Actually he is below avg. defensivly in CF. He is above avg in right field. Look at Cam's and Fukudome's line this year and its pretty creepy how close they are... Cam - .252/.345/.449 Fuku - .257/.372/.419
  20. Wait, we cut Rouse and kept Bush? Hahahahhahaha. Jarret Bush is to Ted Thompson as Corey Patterson is to Dusty Baker. Except the part where Bush has not done anything... ever. Favre for the Favre reasons and Hill for the proving himself reasons. He's 9-3 as a starter but has gotten very little credit. Beat Minnesota on the road and he will get a lot more credit and the Hill beating Favre will likely be talked about along with it. It's not the most intriguing aspect to the game by a long shot but it is something to watch for. I see what your saying about Hill, but pointing out his win-loss record is not a great way to show how good he is. I think Orton has a winning record as a starter as well.
  21. The best part? If they win on Sunday, they will be tied for first
