  1. Thank you. No problem. I'll try and get some of Cashner's clips from tonight's game and any other big hits the offense has.
  2. That graphic is awesome. Who is the batter in there, it's hard to make out the last name. I've been wondering that all morning. Looks like it says P. Reese.
  3. Tony Thomas' Home Run Doug Deeds' Home Run
  4. Neither am I, just passing it along because Cubs deadline rumors are boring. Woo hoo, John Grabow
  5. My brother said the Scott Van Pelt show is running the rumor now. He did say, apparently, that it was just that, a rumor, but he also mentioned the Cubs might be in on Dunn. I'm sure it's complete and utter BS since Scott Van Pelt isn't an insider, but thought I'd pass along the info fwiw
  6. Get this guy a wahmburger and some french cries
  7. Geez Ozzie, buy a guy a drink first
  8. Will be tracking every pitch of the Tenn/Mobile series this week. Last night Patton only lasted like 40 pitches. 2 runs scored via errors, I have no idea why they took him out so early. Papelbon was lights out. Doug Deed's home run was a mammoth home run over the center field wall. The CF wall at Hank Aaron Stadium is about 20 feet tall, and the ball landed about 15 feet past the fence. I'm currently uploading the video to the D-Backs server right now, if I get some free time I'll put the videos of Thomas' and Deeds' home runs up. They're only shots of home plate, but you can at least see the contact. Not sure I'm allowed to do that, but whatever.
  9. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssssssss
  10. But he's still not worth more than Nyjer Morgan
  11. Say what now? Snell please... buy low, Jim
  12. Umm, why? 5.48 ERA 1.40 Whip 134 hits in 112 innings. BAA of .300 Right hand hitters OPS'ing almost .900 against him. He sucks http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/index.php/potential-trade-deadline-bargain-carl-pavano He's got an over 4 K/BB, but he's been unlucky with BABIP and home runs. I understand how you can be unlucky with BABIP but how can you be unlucky with home runs? Wind blowing out? He hit his spots but the hitter still got it out of the park?
  13. I'm of the "Gambling didn't get him 4,000+ hits, let him in" boat. But that's about as far as I'll debate it because outside of that I'm a little apathetic to the HOF. If they'll let someone like Jim Rice in but not Andre Dawson, eff 'em.
  14. That's a pretty messed up thing to think, much less type. Unless my sarcasm meter is broken, I'm willing to bet he was being serious and that really did happen
  15. I can't decide whether I should laugh at this or have some sort of concern about it
  16. None of this could be possible if it weren't for the rest of the NL Central being just as mediocre as we've been. Until we retain first place for an extended period of time, I'm not going to get my hopes up just yet... Though it is a pleasant feeling :)
  17. That 67% stolen base percentage is SEXY!
  18. Kerry Wood? What other pitcher has followers who would be thrilled that they would be pitching for the Cubs? Sorry. I worded that poorly. I meant Al's followers, not the pitcher's. I assume he just means it is a significant player. Who does this "Al" have a baseball boner for?
  19. Kerry Wood? What other pitcher has followers who would be thrilled that they would be pitching for the Cubs?
  20. Scratached sounds like a corny SportsCenter catchphrase
