    I know that some players put teams like Chicago, New York, LA, etc... all the large market teams on their no-trade list as a means of negotiating a larger contract extension in exchange for waiving their no trade rights. Last year Upton's 4 teams on his NTC were the Cubs, Indians, Red Sox, and Yankees.

    To be fair to Schilling he did rack up a ton of K's, had an amazing K/BB rate during his peak years, and had it not been for some pretty historic seasons by Randy Johnson and Johan Santana, would've probably won 3 Cy Young awards

    According to the latest report on Rotoworld, sounds like they're really trying to push an Olt centered package for Upton still. With Berkman in the mix, Olt is a goner.

    Completely irrelevant, but does anyone remember that "Farewell" video that was made for someone (forget who) who was only on the team for a short time and was completely awful and it was set to "Thanks for the Memories" by Fall Out Boy and it lasted like 4 seconds showing one picture of them making a crappy play? I wanna say Aaron Miles, but I thought it was an outfielder.

    A little surprised he was only able to get a one year deal. Would've very much liked the Cubs to get him.

    That's just showing the members of the 600 home run club, though, not any player. Though it is pretty cool how, assuming Thome retires this year, he'll be the 6th player of 8 total players in baseball history with 600 home runs to start and end his career in the same city.

    For some reason I saw this and thought this was new information and I freaked out. Ugh. This isn't gonna happen. If we're gonna salvage our most valuable assets, I'd prefer to salvage them for multiple useful players instead of just one, even though that one is super awesome.
