If it's not based on actual stoppage time (and people are shocked by the number of minutes chosen), then it's arbitrary, thus stupid

No padding in the back, and football players generally don't run 20 yards with a full kick at the back of the leg. True, but some of these guys go down when they're at a stand still

Ok. Football players are knocking knees and clipping ankles every freaking play and they never go down in a heap as much as soccer players do (and they have just as little padding below the thighs)
