All Lewis needed to do was take his headset off and go out there and get his guys after the Burfict penalty. Instead, he stood there like Dusty Baker, letting his team go nuts and it cost him the game.

I've seen 2 really bad ones unfold with vested interests (Jake Delhomme 08 and Ryan Lindley last year) but that one was pretty bad. 134 yds on 44% passing with 4 INT and a fumble. Ouch

The packs and stubs are almost entirely for a mode called Diamond Dynasty, which involves collecting baseball cards and building a team from those players to compete with other players online. If your focus is primarily going to be on regular season or franchise modes, the extras aren't a big deal

I only think 8 teams will happen if the first round is played at home stadiums Why? You think fan bases won't travel? Enough will. You have six access bowls currently. 4 of them will be quarters and the other two will be semi's. Rotate them every year. The national title game will be its own thing. The amount of revenue from boner pill commercials and other ads that would come about from 4 New Years Day playoff games would be staggering. Money is king. Any issues that pop up regarding fan bases traveling or compensating players for the extra game can be worked out. I think it's a lot to ask fans to travel three times in three weeks.

Johansen is lazy. He played below his potential for a few years, had a great season last year, got paid, and then showed up out of shape again. He's been terrible. No one will miss him. He's not the franchise player

How bad an idea would it be to award the #1 draft pick to the team that just barely missed the playoffs, and work the draft order from there? That would strongly discourage tanking and reward teams that tried but just missed -
