  1. Baez hits one homer 450 feet and now he'll try to top that for the next week, no matter the pitch
  2. I believe in boxing they call this the "Rope-a-dope"
  3. LOL, I thought that Schwarber homer was a 300 foot fly out off the bat
  4. It is a wonderment that Mike Pelfrey is still being paid to play baseball
  5. he's been fine since coming back up he's getting there
  6. I'm kinda tired of Addison watching 3rd strikes right down the middle
  7. Suck it, Shields. Remember the seven minutes when we wanted to trade for him? lol
  8. I'm saying that Dunn is sorta what he is right now, and that's fine. We don't need him to be an MVP. And maybe he ends up hitting for better average (bonus!) but he doesn't need to to be productive
  9. adam dunn offense would be amazing from schwarber, and this is a weird ass way to compare stats I'm aware of the sample size difference. Kyle's in his Age 22 season Dunn's age 22 season (also his first full season): .249/.400/.454, 84 R, 26 HR, 71 RBI, 128 BB, 170 K 128 BB's in a year from Schwarber would be unbelievable
  10. This ump calling strikes 6 inches off the outside corner all night hasn't helped
  11. Jose Altuve is slashing .494/.540/.747 over 89 PA's in July Is that good?
  12. I'm fine with him being Adam Dunn so long as there are enough other hitters around him to a) mitigate his high K's but also b) take advantage of his walks
  13. Schwarber thru 162: .222/.334/.461, 98 R, 36 HR, 84 RBI, 85 BB, 179 K Dunn career 162 game average: .237/.364/.490, 89 R, 37 HR, 95 RBI, 107 BB, 193 K
  14. Fun fact: Bartolo Colon has faced both Bellingers in the big leagues. and likely tried to eat at least one of them I'd say he succeeded
  15. Hawk was extremely entertaining yesterday. His meatbally outrage was something to behold
  16. I have a few friends who will die on the scouting grade hill with some players, insisting that various players actual stats are secondary to how they've graded out in the minors.
