    Duke is, like, reverse Kyle-ing right now Just stating facts. I think it's odd people hate the best Cubs' teams of their lifetimes. Also a fact: this team was a massively not fun suckfest in the first half last year. By the end, the NLCS run was awesome, and as a whole, the year was a success. But to pretend that on a day-to-day basis the team was fun to watch is revisionist history. And despite the good overall record/pace right now, the team is not fun to watch as often as it is a blast to watch

    Yeah, the 97-win average of the past three years, the 92-win pace this year, the two consecutive division titles, the 3 straight NLCS appearances, and the World Series championship really make me feel this way too. oh god, get the horsefeathers over yourself man Duke is, like, reverse Kyle-ing right now

    This whole thing is funny to me because it reminds me of my daughter. About a month ago, she cleaned out her closet and dug up a ton of American Girl stuff (dolls, clothes, etc.) . She gets the idea that she can sell all of this stuff on eBay and make a good chunk of change doing so. To her credit, she spent an entire Saturday individually photographing each piece (all the while mentally spending all this money she thinks she's going to make). Fast forward to now, when the reality of having to create all these eBay pages (not to mention shipping these items if/when she sells them) has settled in, and this great idea doesn't seem so great anymore

    Thanks for that! Imagine how pissed everyone is gonna be if it comes back around to Schwarber Fan after he missed his start twice, and he goes on an insane run of, like, 14-1. A 14-1 run would be awesome

    i've watched just about all of the game and the stadium looks full to me. where do you see empty patches of seats? Might've been a ton of people late getting back to their seats after halftime. Huge sections of midline seats were empty at the start of the half
