  1. This is the longest final 45 seconds of a completely decided game in history
  2. Andy Reid Coaching Tree = HARD PASS
  3. She scooped into a lot of notes and went off the melody. BOOOO
  4. Had they taken the knee, the Steelers would have been crying “COLLUSION!!” from the rooftops
  5. BOOOOOOOO
  6. MISS IT, MISS IT, MISS IT
  7. Yes, and Steelers are out
  8. I want a live feed of Ben Roethlisberger watching this game
  9. They flexed the right game
  10. Yep, with the night game a de facto "play-in" game
  11. Encouraging to get a win on an off night for Derozan
  12. It's the Packers. We all know that Jordan Love would just step in and have 3 MVP seasons and keep the Packers winning every year
  13. I have zero interest in Harbaugh, so if the Raiders scoop him up, then great, bullet dodged
  14. That Giants game was Fields' best chance of breaking out. Bad timing
  15. Correct. Baseball constantly trying to appeal to people who don't like baseball rather than make the experience better for people who do. 'Attendance is better for sporting events with competitive stakes' is not a fact I expected to have to argue, because is obviously and objectively true. This is more true for sports with short seasons where every game could tilt the outcome of the season. A 162 game season means that the stakes are relatively low on a per-game basis, and there isn't much the commissioner can do to juice ticket sales for a random Reds v Pirates game.

  17. There’s no way they start in time
  18. I read today some speculation that Harbaugh has wanted out for the past several years, but there hasn't been a good opportunity for him. Vegas and Chicago are much better opportunities than anything the past few years. Feels like Michigan is screwed either way: either they lose their coach mid-recruiting season (and see a pile of guys enter the portal or pull their commitments) OR they overpay to keep him and they're back to 8-4 mediocrity for the next 5 years
  19. Also, they seem to have fixed their tweet, as the original doesn't link anywhere
  20. Redtails wasn't even in their top 8. Outside of the Kraken, I can't think of a recent new team/name change that has been anything other than completely lame
  21. It’s tough to have CBA negotiations when the two sides simply don’t meet
  22. I love that the Chiefs give up on catching him 10 yards outside of the end zone
  23. If the Saints finish their season in a week or two as expected, the Bengals might be my rooting interest. They’re a fun team. They just put up some stat about the Bengals being the first team in NFL history to have a 4000 yard passer, 1000 yard rusher, and two 1000 receivers ALL 25 years old or younger
