    I don't know that anyone objects to his drug use. They're objecting to the fact that while some players are given lengthy suspensions for drug use, Rodgers can openly brag about it and receive no punishment

    I really feel like he was a bit lost for awhile after the league made their adjustments to him. But he looks a lot better now. I feel like he will be a very productive piece going forward. I’m sure it was frustrating to be getting the Schwarber treatment by the umps as well. Batters with good eyes at the plate shouldn’t be punished for taking close pitches.

    Same. It would be one thing if it was just the Cubs, or only a few teams like them, but basically it's like the whole damn thing is broken. It feels like when football pushed me away almost a good ten years ago now. There's just no "good team" out there; they're all run by total horsefeathers. I have some bad news for you about TV, Hollywood, book publishers…

    YouTube videos don’t show up at all on mobile. Just a big blank space where the embedded video should be.

    MLB’s problem is that they are stubbornly regional in their marketing. Some of this is due to season length, but unless there’s a transcendent player like Derek Jeter who happens to capture a national audience, MLB is content to not push, say, Jose Ramirez anywhere outside of Cleveland.

    I mean, sure, but I’ll watch an NHL game over an NBA game 10 times out of 10. NBA basketball just doesn’t appeal to me anymore.

    Somehow there are still two teams worse than the Cubs (though they are officially tied with the Reds for last place in the central)

    The Cubs' current winning pct . is .001 higher than the 2012 team, which is the worst team in my 47 years.

    Poor Jim Riggleman had some horrendous teams in the mid 90s. That team that started 0-14 ended with a better winning % than this 2022 dumpster fire

    Ross was just extended, so he's a sunk cost. Maybe some coaches get fired to show that they're doing something
