BTW, despite the huge numbers, CJ Stroud is going to be just another NFL bust. The guy stares down his #1 read just like every other OSU QB, but gets away with it because they're always wide open. One of the few times that MSU mixed up their coverage, he threw a pick six straight to a Spartan DB

Michigan's defense worries me. If they can shut down PSU's running game, Clifford isn't good enough to win it with his arm. I won't even be able to watch the game, as I'll be driving a van full of my college students to Chicago for a departmental trip

My stance on the extra innings runner has already been stated multiple times, but I will say it is really strange to suddenly play under different rules during the postseason. If the extra innings runner is how baseball is going to be played now, then it should probably apply in the postseason too. But I will hate it until the day I die. I still hope that MLB will eventually go back to the old rules for regular season games too, but that hope is fading. Eh, the OT rules in the NHL change between the season and post-season. Doesn't bother me in the slightest

Orlando will enjoy scoring a game-winning goal in the 94th minute! Seems like the consensus here is that fans would take missing the playoffs if it gets Caleb Porter fired.

I know no one cares about MLS, but Columbus is struggling to make the playoffs because they’ve given up 11 points in stoppage time (an MLS record). Without all those last minute choke jobs, they’d be the #3 seed in the east

Who was likely all hopped up on something as well. I don’t know when it happened but isn’t it widely considered just about every player was taking greenies on a somewhat daily basis. There are stories about how most teams just had a candy bowl of them for players to grab. Fairly sure Aaron and others took them (and I’m not saying it’s that “bad” or the same as HGH mind you) Greenies with a cocaine chaser

I wasn't editorializing, but that's obviously why it's getting so much attention and that's how a lot of voters will view it. I haven’t really gotten that vibe at all. It’s been much more AL/Yankee record being brought up from what I have heard (and I agree with). It’s cool and historic in that right but only meatballs are saying “TRUE HR KING”. I have been pleasantly surprised to have not heard much on that front. It’s really just the Maris family ringing that bell

Joey Votto is in the broadcast booth and has said that since no one has ever won the Toyota truck contest at GAB, he will buy the contestant the truck if a player hits a homer anywhere in the park (not just the sign) -
