Hughes has the slightest hitch in his delivery when things happen (because he's so used to having to read ad copy every time there's a walk, hit, strikeout, etc.). Must be weird for him to just be able to call a baseball game rather than the neverending stream of ad garbage

I think I'm getting a little bored with this game. I used to rack my brain and take a couple of hours completing each grid. Now if I get 4 or 5 and then hit some wrong answers, I don't even finish the grid

90 wins seemed impossible back in June. If, on June 8, after losing 3-1 to the Angels to fall to 26-36 on the season, someone had said "starting tomorrow, the Cubs will go 64-34 for the rest of the season and finish 90-72" you would have bet your life savings it wouldn't happen.
