    Um, what? First round matchups this year would be: PSU @ OSU Missouri @ Oregon Oklahoma @ Florida State Ole Miss @ Georgia At least two of those games are really interesting. In addition, the “I’m not playing the bowl game because I don’t want to get hurt before the draft” thing goes away as these are meaningful games.

    I don’t think it’s marginal to potentially see an SEC team have to go to Michigan or Wisconsin in the deep freeze of December to play a playoff game. Hopefully the ADs at those northern schools don’t chicken out and make those games to domes.
