The WNBA has its draft like a week after the NCAA Championships. NFL can't do that (as they're mid-season), but they can do it pretty quickly after the Super Bowl. But they never will, because the NFL markets itself as a 365 day/year sport. ESPN will lead with the NFL any chance they can get.

Hendricks is cooked. He can't be relied on anymore. Time to make up a phantom injury for him. Taillon can't come back quickly enough. -

I didn’t get to watch this, but what’s the “way too small sample size” takeaway on Hendricks. Is he cooked? Are we going to have to score 8+ runs every time he starts?
