    I don't care what Kyle says, the Ian Wheeler storyline was heartbreaking. Yes, Hard Knocks probably pumped him up and he was never making the team, but you don't like to see anyone's season end that way

    Paul Skenes has a 2.9 fWAR, which would make him top 20 in the majors (top 10 in the NL), only he doesn't have enough innings to qualify for the leaderboard. He's pitching at just under a 6 fWAR pace over a 200 IP full season

    A 12 team playoff is fun in theory, but there will never be a Cinderella run from a #12 seed to the title. A Boise State or Cincinnati or whoever can get in and pat themselves on the back, but they aren't winning 3 straight to take the title
