  1. The biggest takeaway from that game was that the Cubs appeared to be enjoying themselves for the first time In weeks
  2. It's a hopeless feeling knowing that there is no magic pill to fix this offense. They're all just SO BAD
  3. Good thing we didn't address 3rd base in the offseason
  4. Jed's answer about the struggling offense is cut short because the offense lasted 4 minutes in that inning
  5. He has an extreme loopy lollpop swing, so high heat is impossible for him to hit
  6. I really hope that's his "YouTube" voice and not how he talks in real life.
  7. I would like to apologize for my previous past blasting Rob Manfred for blacking out Reds games in my area. I think he was actually on to something...
  8. Tauchman, PCA, Busch all sitting today
  9. No roster moves announced yet. He’s not in the 40 man, so either someone needs to be DFA’d, or someone like Alzolay needs to go to the 70 day IL
  10. Seiya takes the only strike he's seen. JFC
  11. Tauchman has been striking out a lot lately
  12. Not to make excuses for Seiya, but aren't all Japanese games played in domes?
  13. Yes, but save yourself the pain and find something else to do
  14. It's stupid that they're playing this game right now
  15. The lineup that doesn't score runs continues not to score runs. Crazy
  16. Can he play catcher?
  17. Very interesting that they aren't re-seeding the playoffs after each round. Going true March Madness style, where a busted bracket might make things easier for lower seeded teams. For example, the #1 overall seed gets a first round bye, then plays the winner of 8 vs. 9, while the #4 overall seed also gets a first round bye, then plays the winner of 5 vs. 12. If #12 upsets #5, then the 4 seed gets to play an "easier" game in the next round than the #1 seed
  18. Reds about to tack on a couple more and nail this thing down
