  1. oh my god this is boring just end
  2. Dallas, Atlanta, San Diego. also Baltimore, Jets, Cleveland, San Fransisco at times, Miami at times, Denver possibly next year. BTW, the Texans are a 4-3 defense. Atlanta is also a 4-3. The Texans were a 3-4 when they first started though, right? I believe so. They converted about 3 years ago. heh, I can't keep up.
  3. early competition to see which team can drop more passes

  5. Dallas, Atlanta, San Diego. Will Dallas change with a new DC?
  6. 3-4 defense, meaning, what, Pittsburgh, New England or Houston? I doubt he'd want to go to the Texans, and I don't imagine the first two have tons of cash, but I don't know that for sure
  7. According to the box score, Gooden only threw 73 pitches in the 10 innings. That's probably why nobody complained. Not saying this disproves your point, just that in that specific case it's not a big deal. the opposing pitcher threw 9 innings and Gooden threw 250 innings with 12 CG's at age 21 It's more about pitches/inning than innings pitched. ok, then why do pitchers today have more pitches/inning than they did 20 years ago? better hitters? worse control? tighter strike zone?

  9. well that shut the crowd up
  10. I hope Wood doesn't play in that series. I'd like to see the ovation he gets. a standing ovation, followed by giving up the tying and winning runs in the bottom of the 9th
  11. so is the shine off of Adam Jones already, or is someone moving to a corner OF spot?
  12. seriously. waiting till 3 sucks
  13. and so it begins
  14. I wouldn't be suprised if Notre Dame bought out tubby, and made a move. I would They probably want Urban Meyer. Weis will likely last this year and then the Irish will make another run at Meyer. what if Notre Dame goes 8-4 next year? 9-3? 8-4 is a guaranteed firing for Weis and 9-3 might be. If ND has a great year, though, I think they'll keep Weis. I'm assuming, though, that 9-3 is the top end of what Weis will do and I think they'll try to pry Meyer away from UF at that point. why is it a guaranteed firing? it's a 2 game improvement on last year and continued upward trend

can you do a funny visual joke about Rocky Cherry now?

  17. his 20k game will forever be tainted now that he has signed with another team

  19. I don't see Pie as a deal breaker. Given how Pie's value is right now, I expect that they would get a minor league filler at the lower levels. Even with a bad Cubs' system, I would be thrilled if whomever they get would come close to cracking the top 30. Cedeno prob. has the most value of the 3. Trading Pie at this point is ignorant. Trading him for major league filler is even more ridiculous. I don't understand the rush to get rid of a guy that 1)is cheap 2) plays excellent defense 3) has proven himself at every level so far. Give the guy a chance already. If one of the OF's get hurt I would much rather give the time to Pie and see what he can do, than play some career backup. he's out of options, so you either need to make room for him on the major league bench or risk losing him for nothing
  20. who wears a v-neck sweater with nothing on underneath (outside of the Jersey Shore I mean)
  21. that's two very weak teams. last year, yes, but historically strong and unlikely to stay bad for long
  22. Tampa Bay has promoted the guy who only just got promoted to DC to head coach
