    3rd place alone if we win this one. Which is technically 4th, no? For seeding sake, I mean. It's pretty much a foregone conclusion that we get the fourth seed and then have an epic second-round matchup with Detroit. Doubtful. Doesn't the NHL reseed after each series?

    My Dad was telling me over the phone the other day that ticket prices have gone way up. Last year I bought the September Cardinals game from him and it was 30 something dollars. He told me those tickets were $56 now. Must be one of the new Platinum-level games ... nothing like shelling out >$100 to take your sweetheart out to the ol' ballpark. That's pretty much the cost of a 360/PS3 game for roughly 3 hours of live entertainment. Yeah, or you could not demand to get the best seats for the best games. What can I say ... I have caviar taste and a double cheeseburger budget. Besides, banging 10's is nearly impossible unless you spring for the luxo seats and the playoff atmosphere. Telling 'em that you post on NSBB only gets you to second base. Okay, this post hasnt gotten near enough run.

    Stacy King is awesome. Neil Funk is horrible. I really miss Larrivee on the WGN games. Seriously? I hated Larrivee. Dude had like 2 catch phrases that he used all the time and rarely when appropriate Ring it up!

    You're right. I'm pissed. Jacobs managed this whole process poorly. ...but the ISU writers are downright jubilent. HOLY CRAP! This writer really disliked the new Auburn coach! :shock: http://iowastate.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=889020 That writer is an absolute joke. He will do whatever it takes to make himself and ISU look better.

    Another awesome offensive performance, and the defense was great too until the last couple minutes. Tate really handled Brackins well. Gives me some confidence for the conference season.

    They still wouldn't be that good. A coach can't make terrible players all-stars. OK, so, currently the Bulls have a better record than 13 other teams in the league. The players aren't terrible. Frustrating? Probably. And, a coach and a scheme makes a huge difference in basketball. And how many teams have a better record than them? When was the last time they got past the first round of the playoffs? Oh yeah, 10 years ago. 2 years ago
