    Illinois has 2 final fours since 1952. 0 National titles (unless you count the mythical one earned in 1915). They have a couple more tournament appearances. Illinois is slightly better than Iowa historically. If Iowa is irrelevant than Illinois is slightly relelvant. Congratulations your fanbases supperiority complex is warranted. shh let them keep making fools of themselves. :lol: i love you man. Iowa has made a final 4, 2 elite 8s, 6 sweet 16s and 17 Ncaa appearances since they were last relevant.

    oh it was definitely a horribly played and called game. sometimes when the refs take over games like that it makes it impossible to blow teams out. Iowa was up 8-12 pretty much the whole second half as it was. we still dont know what is going on with tucker right now and if we can even count on him getting significant minutes. I really dont think you can take any more out of this one bad game than you can, say, wisconsin beating idaho state and iona by two each or minnesota playing some close games with bad teams.

    pretty impressive you can come to this conclusion because of one game. even more impressive you can come to it after praising iowa the whole preconference season and as recently as a couple days ago.
