  1. Does this belong in Rants?
  2. Murton, like Choi before him, was the golden child of this board. I have never quite figured out why either. Geovany Soto
  3. At least you hae the Colts. I have the Bears and UCLA football. Cubs and Notre Dame. Beat ya. Cubs and Duke and the Falcons
  4. Yuck is that just a general comment on the entire cubs roster? if not ... what lineup would you suggest? Soto over Kendall? I think it's about the best we can throw out there, with not much of a difference between that and the ideal (soto in, jk out)... Id put Soto, Murton, and Cedeno in.
  5. Lineup I am looking for 1. Pie 2. Lee 3. Renteria/Tejada 4. Ramirez 5. Soriano 6. Soto 7. Murton 8. DeRosa 9. Z/Lilly/Hill/Marshall/Hart
  6. seriously, who is the color guy? Terrible. F. Ron Darling, and he's not that bad. Hes [expletive] brutal
  7. Gameday has this lineup for the Cubs, a little different than the ones posted Soriano Jones Lee Ramirez Floyd DeRosa Soto Theriot Z
  8. Which ESPN guy says that? Most of them are predicting the Cubs to win. I'm pretty sure that is from foxsports.com....or maybe my memory is failing me due to reading every article written about the cubs since Friday... nah its ESPN, they have a link from the homepage now
  9. Not sure if anybody posted this but, ESPN gives up this gem
  10. This is the exact roster I would have made.
  11. My thoughts exactly as well. They said after workouts. COME ON!! Also, where is the news on the starting catcher??? He cured cancer
  12. Indians over Yankees in 4 Red Sox over Angels in 4 Cubs over Diamondbacks in 5 (using Zambrano and Lilly twice pays off) Phillies over Rockies in 5 (Hamels is the tiebreaker) Indians over Red Sox in 7 (gut feeling) Cubs over Phillies in 6 (as long as Soto plays at least 4 of the 6) Cubs over Indians in 5
  13. Why not let Hart be that man? He has pitched very well in his short time up and was a starter in the minors.
  14. That is a great idea
  15. From BleedCubbieBlue I realize that this is from a blog and I have not checked this anywhere else yet, but I figured I would share the good news
