  1. no, that is Brett Favre you are thinking about....
  2. per Chicago's baseball gnome, it is a minor league deal http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports_hardball/2008/02/waiting-on-aram.html
  3. why does one or the other have to be better? they're different players. ? They both are point guards that can also score. if you don't recognize that they're different players, you haven't see one or the other of them play. Why don't you come down and break down the differences between the two players for us, because obviously I don't watch basketball. i didn't say you didn't watch basketball, just that you haven't seen one or the other of them play and you tend to make assumptions based on anecdotal evidence and highlights from the booyaa network. you definitely possibly could maybe watch some basketball, but your assessments are mainly uptight bedwetting garbage--as evidenced by your most recent temper tantrum over a fairly beign observation and statement that i had made--. Actually garbage would be your hyperbolic post earlier(Ali vs. a Diet Coke). While their styles of play may differ a bit, you can most certainly make comparisons between the two players as their value as an NBA point guard.

  6. Even if someone wants to use the logic that Deron Williams > Chris Paul based on "Winning Games", shouldn't it be pointed out that Paul's Hornets have the best record in the Westen Conference?
  7. they make pills for that
  8. lol @ the latest in this thread....Williams better than Paul? ... :rotfl:
  9. AK47! AK47! pipe dream
  10. It's nice to watch the Bulls minus Ben Wallace, seriously can the Bulls just buy out his contract and be done.
  11. I would also like to see Darwin Walker cut. What a waste. All hype, no production.
  12. So is there a "Little Aramis" ? http://www.sportech.info/wp-content/upload/littlejerry.jpg
  13. Devean George is gonna get his ass beat, i bet.
  14. I'm fairly certain their was some type of collusion invovled in the Gasol trade.
  15. Good news for Marcus Williams
  16. Damn, I was hoping someone gave him the wrong directions.
  17. In that case, keep throwing those terrible lineups out there Jim. So Tyrus Thomas has an insane 4th QTR @ Golden State, then barely sees the court the next few games..that's smart coachign right there.
  18. Bull will actually probalby draft a pud like Kevin Love.
  19. Topic #2. How can we get either Rose or Bayless in a Bulls uniform next season?
  20. anyways..on to another topic. Jim Boylan is the worst coach in the NBA..discuss....
  21. It was innapropriate in this case becuase I wasn't tring to compare Calderone to Steve Nash, I was simply impying that despite his low numbers, he was still a decent young prospect at the time.
  22. Also, fwiw, using PPG as a stat with no other arugments is as bad as citing Batting Average. PPG doesn't tell you that Quetin Richardson is one of the worst players in the NBA.
  23. You're joking, right? Jose Calderon wasn't in the league at the time of that phone call, dude. Considering the phone call took place in June of 2006, facts would suggest otherwise. I don't even think you watched the video, the main context is Coangelo wanted to trade up to get Marcus Williams, who's stock was sliding. Okay, he was in the league, but who would you suggest Paxson should have traded to get a player who put up such mind blowing stats of 5.5 ppg, 4.5 apg, 2.2 rpg? Hinrich with his 15.9, 6.3 and 3.6? Ben Gordon with his 16.9, 3.0 and 2.7? Like I said, you're right, Pax is overly cautious; however your argument remains idiotic. Paxson did have a chance to trade up with Toronto to snag Wade, but passed. If you can prove this, I'd like to see it. This rumor has been around NBA circles for quite some time. Of course I can't prove it until a GM comes out and admits to the deal. However, considering the nature of Paxson's inablity to make deals, this appears quite possible.

Please point out were I suggested trading Hinrich or Gordon straight up? I mean, it appears he wouldn't have traded Chris Duhon straight up? After all, the entire roster was untouchable.
