  1. lol, but they had to slow down their offense to win in the playoffs!...
  2. Boylan is the worst possible thing for this team right now, he is finding ways to lose games and still bury younger guys on the bench. The goal should be losing games and playing the younger guys.
  3. ha, Seahawks stockpiling crappy RB's, like the Cubs do shortstops.
  4. oh, i understand now. w/e All I am SAYING...understand is that I saw Felix Jones alot, and he is IMO, the 2nd best back in the draft. Not to mention he is an electrifying return, in the mold of a Devin Hester. Not saying, he will have a start to his career like Hester, but he is simply electric with the ball in his hands. So IMO, Jones is better the Meddenhall. who is meddenhall? A famous glacier in Alaska! duh....
  5. Infinite stats = infinite players
  6. That is pure awesome. Think about it....seriously.
  7. Well, we all know how some athletes just hate the media, but I'm sure some are just the opposite, they love it and seek them out for any type of pub.
  8. 1) BPA 2) BPA 3) BPA 3) BPA 4) BPA 5) BPA 6) BPA 7) BPA
  9. Well as long as the Bears stay away from Woodson and Colt Brennan(pukes), that's all I care about.
  10. Drew Henson should have been a stud..lol
  11. I've heard a few scouts say they think Henne could be the best QB to come from Michigan since Brady.
  12. Otah. His stock has been tumbling since the combine. Many suggest now he will have to play guard in the NFL.
  13. If both stud OT's are off the board(Clady, Williams) and Mendenhall is still on it, who should the Bears take besides Rashard?
  14. Didn't you JUST say in the above quotes that every team's goal should be to make the Super Bowl? And even if you meant to win it, while that may be true, you're wrong about the 2006 season being as insignificant as the Packers 2007. The 2006 Bears were NFC Champions and played in the big game. That's not insignificant. And it's more significant than losing in the conference championship game. I meant to say win. Does making it mean something? Possibly. It was fun to experience the SB as a fan yeah, but really it is nothing to me anymore
  15. Well Mendenhall can do other things such as 1) Catch the ball out of the backfield 2) Block 3) Not be a jackass. Yeah, #3 is subjective, but IMO Benson's attitude was a big part of the problem this past season.
  16. Maybe my expectations are too high. But it isn't my fault, my first memories as a Bears fan are http://mybearsandblackhawksblog.files.wordpress.com/2007/01/85-bears.jpg
  17. The Bears did not win the Superbowl. Really that's all I care about. Just my personal opinion.
  18. I bet you're happy. The Bears can't be his personal bitch anymore. except the part where he went 0-2 against them last year. How did the Bears do last season? You hang your hat on that 2-0 record in a "rivalry game" that none of the players really care about. Considering the goal of every team should be to make it to the superbowl, the Packers 2007 season is as insignficant as the Bears. Whatever you have to tell yourself... The Bears 2006 season is as insignificant as the Packers 2007 season. Happy?

  20. Mendenhall >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Stewart.
  21. Marion Barber III, Lawrence Maroney, Larry Johnson...should I continue?
  22. NO BIG TEN RBs IN THE FIRST RD, unless you want a guarantee bust. Who can argue with this logic?
  23. I would find it unnacceptable if this team is NOT rebuilding to be honest. I have a feeling that they will try to plug alot of the wholes via the draft. This usually leads to alot of reaches. If Mendenhall is on the board @ 14 they would be foolish to pass on him.
  24. Absolutely unacceptable. The Bears had been rebuilding for years and years (with the exception of the fluke 2001 season). They finally make it back to the playoffs for two years. Rebuilding AGAIN so quickly after only two playoff appearances is not an option. You may find it unacceptable, but it is the truth. Currently the Bears need 2 more WR's, an OT, and OG, and and another RB. I won't even get into the QB situation. That is 5 key positions on offense, and the FA market is dwindling. Do you really expect Angelo to plug these holes via the draft? Espcecially considering his track record regarding offensive players?
