It only takes one inning to break a slump.

Adversity happens. Most teams who win championships have moments where it seems like it won't happen. This team has come back from late deficits all season when it looked like the game was over and they've done it while they were slumping offensively. They are down 2-1, that's faaaaaaar from insurmountable. They just have to win 3 out of 4 games. I sure there have been plenty of 4 game stretches where this has happened. Slumps happen in this game. And when they do happen it's hard to have much confidence but they can end at any time. And who knows, maybe a hit by pitch, a bloop and then someone gets a hold of a hanger in the first or second inning and just like that we got our swagger back. I've always figured that even when the World Series happens there's going to be that time when it seems like we aren't gonna do it, and I sit back in fear and sadness and worry about it but in the run to the World Series, obviously we get through that. It's possible this is one of those moments.

God they're barely winning and it feels like the media narrative constantly sides on how magical the Dodgers are. I hope we get a big inning and end this crap.
