    We do! We just never hit them 1 or 2. DeRosa Fukudome Lee Ramirez Soriano Soto Pie Theriot Hmph. I honestly don't understand how fans can sometimes manage a baseball game better than people who get paid a lot to do it

    I root for him because he is in there, I want him to surprise us with a good season because Lou is insistent on playing him so I want him to produce. I just don't think he is good so I don't want him playing, but since he is I want him to help the Cubs win.

    The major overreaction has to do with the fact that we're the Cubs, we have high expectations, the Cubs never play well with high expectations and after a long wait for baseball it sucks to start 0-2 and even 0-3 if Dempster pitches like a lot of people think he will. That being said I think we'll be fine and won't freak out until its the end of April and we are playing terribly, even teams who win 100 games lose a couple in a row (not saying we will, just giving perspective)

    The problem is, the Brewers a year older and a year better, and are less likely to colapse as bad as they did last year, and with Dempster on the mound tommorow, a sweep is likely, and thats giving these guys a lot of momentum. Then we take the Wildcard!

    Remember last year we started 1-2. So this isn't that big of a deal. If we start the first two months like last year though, that would be bad.

    I can't remember a time when this team has hit the first two months of the season at Wrigley. These are the most frustrating games for me.
