  1. You're a Cubs fan. If anyone should be used to losing games we ought to win, it's us. This probably deserves a ban: http://www.fangraphs.com/tgraphs/20031014_Marlins_Cubs_0.png :rules: :rules: :rules: :rules: :rules: :rules: :rules: :rules: :rules: This game keeps me from sleeping on occasion...I'm serious
  2. If this is a short slump this isn't that bad not getting swept lately but if this is the real Cubs than we are screwed/
  3. can he do that? If Theriot can then I guess it is physically possible. I think he hit one once. Against the Cubs
  4. Marquis is still in the rotation.... ...while Rich Hill is in Iowa Sean Marshall didn't make the team out of camp, then became a loogy. Even with a place to play Fontenot played over Cedeno. Marmol plays in blowouts only. Sucking Wurtz comes in with bases loaded and no one out. Kevin Hart was used in a key game within one run. Soriano is leading off Joe Morgan is announcing
  5. The same place they were on May 4, 2007. Except Lilly and Marquis were pitching like All-Stars? If Lilly Hill and Marquis were pitching like they were last year at this time than this team would have about 2 losses

  8. I really hope we turn this around before we play Arizona and San Diego
  9. yes Wouldn't leaving the second the ball hits the glove be...a...good thing?
  10. Fukudome's second homer of the year would be lovely right now
  11. That last ab was a good sign though. I like seeing him hit it hard through the middle like that. He's starting to hit it hard. Now he needs to string some hits together.
  12. People calling him selfish is the most irritating thing I have ever heard. He is playing hurt which is stupid but not selfish (by the was I know you were using sarcasm. Just thought I'd clarify that because some people would overreact to my post)
  13. to be fair, most lineups become average when you remove arguably their best hitter and turn their third or fourth-best hitter into a lesser version of neifi perez. Never compare Alfonso Soriano to Neifi Perez. Neifi did great things for this team. While playing for the Rockies, yes. His first week with the Cubs was so good it warranted starting for two years
  14. But he got worked pretty well. In previous Cubs seasons than this would have been much more frustrating. The team is just not coming through with scoring opportunities This team's problem isn't scoring. Even though we'll have off nights with the bats the main problem is pitching
  15. The throw beat him by a mile. He's not fast and he really hasn't shown that he's a good base-stealer. Great he was safe though so how are you answering my post again? He was out. The tag was high, but it was still put on before Theriot's midget leg reached the bag. Even if he was safe it would have been do to a bad tag/throw and not because of Theriot's talents.
  16. People are saying tomorrow Brett Favre>Braun by the way
