    I never understood why a coach picking up on a sign was considered cheating. I feel if someone is figuring out your signs then you should get different signs. Hell, I'd think you could take advatage of this by making the other team think they know what is coming and than throwing something else. However, since the origional post is about the Cubs relaying signs from the CF scoreboard, I do think that this is cheating. However I don't think this is what is going on.

    Aren't these guys professional athletes? Shouldn't they be used to heckling? What the hell is their problem?

    The horrors of tourists coming to Chicago and actually visiting a part of baseball history. I don't think anyone was intimidated, dude, just ignoring you while celebrating a Cubs win. A concept which seems foreign to a majority of Sox fans - celebrating your team's victory instead of rubbing it in your opponent's face. You know when you have one of the biggest fanbases in the country typically your fans will come from all parts of the, you know, country. Especially for one of your biggest regular season series of the year.

    This pretty much happened yesterday and we would have won in normal Marmol would have showed up.

    How can they make fun of a sold out crowd? No, they were talking about how the Cubs only had about 400-500 people per game back in the day. What a dumb thing to bring up Hawk, stuck in the past, I don't beleive that.

    Why? We're usually down, that's easy to deal with. Being up is unusual, and it makes us nervous. Valid...makes sense. But to me it's more like, "Wow, we're actually pretty good." I'm more relaxed this year and find myself looking at the big picture a lot more. Not me. I'm more fired up this year than ever. I am pissed even if we're only up by a run or two. I guess I just feel that this is the closest we're ever going to get to having a WS-caliber team, and this is our only chance for another 20 years or so. Why, we don't have any pending FA departures and we're still a young ballclub. If anything we'll be even better next season as our young talent develops and we add a pitcher or two. Cubs aren't very young. The best hitters (Lee, Rameriez, Soriano, etc.) are in their prime. The window is probably this year and maybe next. I'll take two championships in a row.

    It seems like we've had a lot of outings with one bad inning and then the rest goes well. The problem recently is that we haven't made up for it on offense

    This drives me crazy. I want Z to be ok too but its not dependent on how the team does. If he's hurt, he's hurt. We've got to get back to winning. If Z's ok and we lose, I'm still pissed. The best I have ever felt after a loss is when we got Nomar 2 minutes after it. That went well, didn't it.

In two months when we are running away with the division we will look at this week and laugh All the other NL Central teams are going to die in plane crashes and have to be replaced by their AAA affliliates? the crew is really hot right now Yeah, and a third of our line-up is out while we face some of the top pitching teams in the MLB. And there is a Cardinal outside my window. I want to shoot it.

    I think it's funny that AJ gets bood when the reason we boo him is because of the Michael Barrett confrontation and most Cubs fans hate Barrett.
